Absolutely superb meal today at The Rose & Crown; 1st time we've been and it's left a superb impression. Service was superb; lovely, warm welcome. Menu is really good; superb cask ale (well conditioned too); roast beef absolutely superb and the STP was to die for! We'll absolutely be visiting again and taking more of our family with us...! ??
Had a wonderful 70th Birthday celebration here with our family. The food was exceptionally good and the service was very efficient, friendly and courteous. The Rose & Crown was very busy when we arrived, but we were delighted to be able to enjoy our family gathering in a lovely separate area . The decor throughout the Rose & Crown was warm and inviting, and we will definitely return in the near future.

After moving back to the area we wanted to find a local pub that served great food. This place exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional & there was a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely go

First time eating here and it’s absolutely delicious, chilli and chorizo soup to start, steak as main and panna cotta to finish. I can honestly say it’s one of the best meals I’ve had eating out. Staff are lovely, it feels like you’re a regular from the moment you walk in. Craig and Tom can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend visiting especially when they have entertainment on as the place is rocking!
