Came for a meal before going to a show at Lowther Pavilion.Arrived early but were greeted by a lovely lady who quickly showed us to a table. Carvery was good, fair selection of veg and meat. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Will be coming back again.

Visited today for the breakfast carvery. I was very impressed I will be back.Food was well presented, clean and nicely cooked with plenty of choice. Staff were lovely. Really pleased with my visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: Good selection for everyone the staff are always willing to cater to individuals needs and happy to explain ingredients used - a good selection of meat alternatives on offer. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a "moment" with the meat carver when he tried to fob me off with the scraggy end of the joint of beef. Was reluctant to get a fresh joint out until I insisted. Atmosphere of the eating area spoilt by a selfish family who had decided that the rest of the diners should share the joys of their mardy, young child & their attempts to entertain it. Just don't bring it out after 7pm when it should be in bed!! Don't feel the urge to return.

Had a brilliant day, staff and service excellent couldn't fault them really attentive especially the waitress who was 33 weeks pregnant as well, had a large group so asked the manager (Mike)when I originally booked it if we could all be on one table which he sorted for us, it definitely made the day for us all, really appreciated.

The veg on the carvers was dry as a bone and cold. The meat was cut so thin you could see through it. The cheese sandwich was even worse dried out grated cheese on very substandard ciabatta and so much chutney it was uneatable, the drinks were good though we had to find the fill station as the waitress put the glasses on the table and walked away without a word

Lunch with friends. Welcomed warmly and sincerely. Shown to the table, drinks order taken and efficiently delivered with a smile ?. The restaurant was busy, surprised we didn't have to wait to collect our buffet. Roast beef was melting tasty and good. Vegetables hot and not overcooked. The rest of our party were more than satisfied. Thanking you for a lovely experience .Parking: All good

Toby Carvery varies place to place. The other in Blackpool is often unavailable or runs out of food - a sign of success perhaps. I have visited TC at Salters Wharf with my family a few times, and taken a few take-out roasts home from here. The front of house staff grace customers with friendly service, and the food is more satisfying than my own amateur cooking. However, our attempts to secure a booking for ten this December holiday transformed into a frustrating spectacle of miscommunication and managerial mishap.Initially confirmed without any need of a deposit, my wife received an abrupt phone call contradicting prior assurances. A harbinger of festive doom, he demanded a deposit payment with all the warmth of a Siberian Winter. Attempting to resolve the matter in person, she was told by staff at the counters that no payment was expected in advance, the same confirmed when placing the pre-order online - "0.00 to pay" it shone back in a hollow promise. With over two weeks to go, she was later contacted by the same stern man demanding £600 upfront, speaking at her like she'd committed some heinous culinary crime. The call ended with a dodgy signal, leading to a cancellation email from the restaurant that same evening. The inconsistencies and unprofessionalism saved us from having to suffer frankly exorbitant pricing - far above their usual excellent value - safe to say we'll all be enjoying each other's company for dinner elsewhere this Christmas, far from this bewildering drama.

Unfortunately our visit wasn’t the best. The gravy was low, the sauces were low and took a while to be restocked. The lighting levels for one area was dark and we had to move. There were a number of people who were complaining about the heat in the restaurant, I was sitting in aT shirt and sweating. It wasn’t the best experience for the price we had to pay.

The food was well priced. The young lady who looked after our table was friendly, efficient andhelpful throughout and in the opinion of us all was a credit to your Company. (Table 9 c:4 Courtney). However this was totally spoiled by the attitude of the man who served us at the Carvery. Unhelpful, cold, unfriendly. One of our party was 80years of age and unfamiliar with the protocol. He soughtadvice and was treated with impatience and told to choose which meats he wished. He did so atwhich point the staff member rushed through the I think the four joints . I do not know if he wasrecruited from the NHS but he needed the dexterity of a Surgeon to cut small portions of scragend from each joint. When finished he just turned his back and walked into the kitchen withouta word to the customer. The opinion of all members of the party was the same. The food generally was very good. However there was a mixed responseto the quality of the Yorkshire Puddings (one od the part describing them as "dreadful" Again a mixed opinion about thevegetables which in fairness I found to be good with plenty of selection Two of the party ordered a pot of tea each and were very disappointed. Did theyforget to put tea bags in the pot?!! However the Coffee was excellent. It is a shame that what could have turned out to be a totally pleasant experience was spoiled byjust one member of staff who in our opinion let down the whole team. In a highly competitivemarket one has to be sure to go the extra mile with exacting standards to attract local businesscustom.RONALD F EMERY LLB (HONS)

Staff were good, food was pretty average. Mash potato was awful and basically 1 step from a liquid more than a solid. The "slow cooker beef" was not slow cooked properly as it was chewy and not what beef would be if it was alow cooked properly. Considering the restaurant was almost empty I expected more. Gravy was cold, cauliflower and cheese didnt have any cheese on it, stuffing was dry as a sandal in the desert. As a chef of 20 years I am quite critical at times but the food at salters wharf was average and nothing to write home about. Also the unlimited drinks machine was out of all the flavour additions and the syrups all seemed to about to run out because I could barely taste anything other than soda water.

Foods good, lady on the front calling a grown man "Darling" I've been here 3 times and she's unintentionally annoyed me everytime... Won't be coming again, the highlight of our trip is slagging her off on the way back the hotel.. I'm sure she's a nice lady but over friendly. Just serve the food it's not complicated coming to Toby Carvery, also you have wait too long for starters and deserts. Other than that the foods alright but gets a one star because of that lady.. ⭐

We visited with my £10 off voucher for my Birthday and the meal was as tasty as always. I had Gammon and Pork and my partner had Turkey and Pork. The veggies were delicious and the roasties too, with lashings of gravy thisis a great mid-week

Me and my partner went on Sunday 22nd October, which is more expensive on a Sunday which l understand, we go at least once a week. Yesterday l fancied some roasted parsnips, lm glad it was me and not a child having them .They were very sharp and definitely would of caused some serious problems to a child's throat if they had attempted to eat them .l left all mine because l could not cut them up, no matter attempted to eat them. I felt so let down, as we enjoy going on a weekly basis

The food was excellemt in taste, but it was only warm, we thought the food had been put out too soon, or the heaters over the food were not switched on.That is the only dissappointment and marred a very good meal. Also we thought that the waitresses were not as attentive as they could have been, in that I had to go to the bar to ask where the drinks were as we had got our meals, I expected the drinks to come before we went to the carvery, there seemed too much chatter going on.
