“Magnificent- superb fish and chips, some of the best we've ever had. Can't recommend highly enough. We had the lighter batter option. The fish was melt in the mouth delicious and the chips were cooked to perfection”

“First visit to the pub.
Service was very friendly, efficient and competent.
Ordered the Sunday beef roast, Cumberland ring in a Yorkshire with mash and the breakfast bap.
Three empty plates say it all. Good value for money as well. Would highly recommend.
Great selection of real ales on tap as well.”

“The restaurant is great, good food with big portions and good quality ingredients. We had the Steak Pie it was so good, if we could have seconds portion we would have.

Only criticism is they stop serving food early and have now taken away the real ale selection”
“What a great stay we had! A clean, bright a friendly hotel. Great sized room. Amazing, breakfast and an amazing price. Lovely staff who were so attentive, engaging and friendly. I would love to come back soon.”
