We called here for lunch, the fish and chips were really good. The lady serving us was lovely even though the kitchen was closing they still let us order. We've never been to Morecombe before, we were just passing through. I'd definitely visit again and eat at The Crown!

Went for a Sunday lunch and was really impressed. I had the lamb and my wife had the beef and both meats were tender and cooked perfectly. The potatoes and sides were nice with plenty of tasty gravy. The Yorkshire pudding was great too. All homemade to a high standard. Normally it can be hit or miss when you go out for a Sunday dinner but the Crown is a definite hit. They also serve a range of starters and other mains and I could only hear positive comments from other people. The service was attentive and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere and the prices are really reasonable. I highly recommend the Crown and we will definitely be back for another visit.

Went for lunch and loved it. Such wonderful staff and value for money. Just a terrific meal. The boys loved the black pudding eith mustard sauce and mash plus bacon followed by roast beef and then crumble. My less gluttony soup ( home made and delicious ) and roast turkey was fantastic. The alcohol free pink gin was a treat. Can't wait to go back

Would recommend The Crown for the eating side, as a local, no need to stay, lovely staff.

Unfortunately our food wasn't up to scratch, but the staff couldn't have been nicer.

I went just for a walk in Morecambe and stopped in The Crown Bar & Bistro as it was lunch time and started to feel hungry. The environment is very welcoming, clean and both waitresses are friendly with smiles on their faces. One of the waitress recommended the Steak and Ale pie and I have to say, it was absolutely divine.PS: it's a shame that I forgot to take pictures...Food & drinks: Delicious

Haven't stayed here but ate here this evening with family , lovely friendly polite staff , very clean , decor was lovely esp liked the blinds which i now want myself !! I liked the fact the music wasnt too loud as this is something I encounter a lot ... the food was fantastic, potion sizes where more than enough and the price was great . Its a definite yes from me and would definitely return !!

Lovely staff with bang on efficiency, I only rated the room a 4 star because I'm 6ft1" and the bed was a few inches too short but the room was plenty big enough to get a king size in - room 8).. though my vertically challenged partner said she had a lovely sleep. When I stay again, I'll probably ask if there's a room with a bigger bed and to be fair, we booked last minute so probably had the last room available. The room was very clean, and the temperature control was ideal for our winter stay...The food was spot on, really enjoyed the steak & ale pie.. as good as any I've ever had.. though you should book a table in advance because it's constantly busy (which i'd say is down to the quality of food, looking at the other plates coming out of the kitchen and it being popular because the eating area is cosy, inviting and modern).NB: On reflection I changed it from a 4 to a 5 star for the room.. it was last minute and a good price.. thank you for a nice stop over.
