We had a party at The George last night for my daughter’s 50th birthday. Excellent venue for it. We were given the whole right hand side of the bar area, which suited us, we were not stuck in a room somewhere separate from the buzz of the pub. The staff were extremely helpful to our requirements. They worked really hard to keep the drinks flowing. We didn’t have to queue at the bar. The atmosphere was perfect. They organised the DJ for us, he was great playing any requests we asked for. The whole evening was excellent and I would recommend the venue to host any function.

Been for lunch today. The Young at Heart menu, being slightly smaller portions meant I could enjoy 3 courses, brilliant. The service, food and friendliness means we will definitely be back. Thank you.
