Went for a Christmas do, was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the carvery! The vegetables were tragic, limp and cold but all other aspects of the experience were top notch.

Overall very good experience at Toby.We had Jacks as our waitress and service was faultless. Very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.

A nice family environment, with delicious food, especially if you come hungry! The server "Jacks" was so friendly and made our experience very pleasant, especially with little ones who need attention and space to move!

Breakfast was plentiful but greasy and either over cooked or burnt. Went on a meet Santa breakfast but 'Santa' was not interactive and had an unkempt aroma around them with the present being some colouring sheets and a small bat of chocolate. Definitely not worth the cost.

Toby is usually a nice place to visit. Staff in a panic what looked like an audit or area manager in. Not so attentive to waiting customers. Saw people waiting ages at the carvery as no chef to carve meat. Once he was there he wasn’t very polite. Seems to be a lot of staff but then disappeared. It’s a treat nowadays to come out due to the cost of living, won’t be back in a hurry. Also concentrating on takeaway orders and the Uber drivers also.

We went to lunch as it was my mother in law's funeral, our server at the front was absolutely wonderful, had a great time.He said to my husband and son oh here comes the mafia lol. Thanks for making our visit

Only downside was the thick parsnips were hard in the middle, but everything else was great and tasted delicious. The staff were great, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely go again.Parking: Didn't struggle for a space on Sunday.Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of children there and I saw they were doing activities.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything on ground level.

We came for my son's birthday, he absolutely loves the buffet style veggies and the fact he can have as much as likes. He loves the refills of soft drinks too and all the different flavours you can add. Food was mostly lovely, the roast potatoes were over done (cremated!) and weren't the best but we thoroughly enjoyed everything else. Service was quick and all staff polite and efficientKid-friendliness: Our older kids loved the drinks machine!

?+?? non food servers very friendly (especially woman with red hair and tattoos), nice atmosphere, food always good value?been to this one twice now, and the carvers are really rude. The same guy each time has underserved my meat helping compared to other guests. Because we are Asian, naturally one assumes this is racial (I try to tell myself it’s not the case). It’s a shame as it damages an otherwise good experience. Also, both times at this carvery there have been no roast potatoes on a Sunday!? Please instruct carvers to be fair and/or organise some equality and diversity trainingEdit: upgraded due to positive response from Toby carvery

We go to TC quite often and our main gripe every visit is the queuing. I have mentioned this before. GET SOMEONE ELSE ON THE SERVERY!! It was very busy yesterday, in fact busier than ever before and the staff were run ragged but still very pleasant. The queue for the Carvery was about 30 people yet still just one poor guy, carving the meat, replacing the plates, replacing the sausages, Yorkshire puds etc. He was even having to ask for more meat. This cannot be practical, surely he should just be carving?Vegetarian options: Could do with more, and more exciting options on veggy menu.

I visited Toby Carvery with my daughters. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. Our waitress Jacks couldn't do enough for us and was a credit to the restaurant. It became extremely busy and Jacks made sure we got a perfect service with a smile and great sense of humour. She called my daughters the Honeycombe Sundae girls as we all ordered the same sweets.

We didn't have the carvery, so I can't comment on that. We each had beef sandwiches on ciabatta with roast potatoes on the side. It was really nice. My companion had wanted the Yorkshire wrap but they were out of them (this happened last time we were there so - it was disappointing). Service was quick and friendly. Loads of space to park. Prices reasonable.

Absolutely amazing experience. Came with a table of 4 and food was really nice. In particular beef was to perfection. Lovely atmosphere. Hosted by Jacks and she made us feel at home and had a wonderful meal. Overall very nice and would recommendParking: A little inaccessible in terms of turning circles. But enough spaces
