Nice pleasant area for a brief walk. Child's play area at start and quieter areas further along. Rough looking by pond. Would recommend for people with limited walking ability and parents of young children. Area used as a pathway through to houses, I would avoid school start and end times unless you like it busy.Playground: Not overly big areaRestrooms: No toiletsDog-friendliness: Lots of dog walkers and happy to report no dog mess with plenty of bins around.Picnic area: It was very cold when we went but I imagine in summer it would be a lovely area for a pic nic. Plenty of space dotted around.

Great place to bring children and pets alike. Playground on the outer parts of the park with tennis courts for anyone wanting to be adventurous. Football pitch area safely nestled between the trees, it’s low down so can be soggy at times. But great size. All in all lovely walk with a river / stream running through the middle. Perfect to check out the café as a welcomed stop.
Great place to walk the dog. There is a little enclosed area for off leash with benches. That area is not wheelchair accessible.

A great, straightforward cafe which does amazing breakfasts and a range of specials over lunch. Cakes and teas also to die for! I love the place and the two ladies that run it, Rebecca and Hannah, are a testament to great customer service. Give them a try and remember to order a cappuccino as well! Always excellent

Popped in for a quick dog walk while passing through the area, lots of sniffy paths and bushes for doggo, and a decent flat grass area for him to stretch the thunderpaws!
