Delicious food and very helpful staff. The queue to order could be improved with some technology, but once ordered, the food arrived quickly—warm, very well presented, and in generous portions.

Kismat Kebab House

Popped into this place after 7 or 8 years and my gosh, same people running it same taste same portions same low prices, same smiles and welcomes.

The chapli kebab were freshly made from scratch right before your eyes , juicy and tender just like you would get in Peshawar.

The nan was thesame biggest Ive had in the round format and it was perfect, no crunchy bits, all soft from edges to centre

ABIT disappointed in the store as it seems to have lost it appeal in store goods are not the same ranges as they us d to be in the past.
The furniture department looked good and cafe seems to be busy but the clothing was difficult to navigate around

Fantastic food brilliant service fabulous wine and beers. As always a great atmosphere too. We had steak which was delicious and highly recommend a bottle of the Vouvray wine.

White Bear Inn, Nelson

Had a meal here recently since the pub has been taken over by new owners, and what a great experience. The steak was absolutely lovely – perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. You can really tell care has gone into the food, It’s great to see such a positive change, and I’ll happily be back again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food well cooked, did forget the sauce on the chips but the burger was banging would recommend cheese burger and gourmet burger cooked to perfection always.

Always amazing freshly cooked meat and pizzas it's not even that the taste and flavours and stuff is all spot on ?I would recommend this takeaway to anyone!! Best takeaway by far In nelson.

New Dobo Chinese Takeaway

Ordered the special chow mein and a side order of stir fried mushrooms, too full to even open the mushrooms, it came with free mini spring rolls, food was fresh/hot, very generous portion at a decent price.

Kobeda Cuisine Nelson

Best lamb chops and kobeda kebab in town. Slightly pricey but good. I go here frequently. Never had an issues. Their salad if soo fresh, i have not had it that fresh anywhere

Absolutely top-class food and service at Kebabish.

The chicken was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly every time. Generous portions, great value, and friendly staff who clearly care about quality. One of the best spots in Nelson for a proper meal , highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Today's experience with a 3 course meal was fantastic. Halloumi bites, Santa Stacked and Chocolate fudge cake was a real treat. I would highly recommend to anyone. Pleasant atmosphere, spacious with great staff. A really great experience

Been going hear for over 10yrs when ever I go visit mum in Nelson. The strips and burgers are a must so juicy and tender. Hats off to you boys.

Just home from a lovely meal in the lord nelson. I had steak and my wife had salmon. Both were delicious and very well presented. Generous portions and good value for money. Lovely bottle of wine as well. Rhiannon is very friendly and efficient and all in all a very pleasant evening. Would highly recommend

Visiting boundary outlet, stopped off at this place, highly recommend the food, proper pub grub, had the homemade steak pie chips and veg, all cooked fresh, the portions were huge..superb!

Rising Sun Inn

Great food! We were sat in the thick of it by the bar for our meal rather than in a restaurant area but it wasn't too bad and we had to order food at the bar. Everything else was spot on, the staff are lovely and the food was incredible! The home made peppercorn sauce was just stunning and the steak was seasoned to perfection! You can tell they really care about it too as even the chef popped out to ask how we found our meal. I'll be thinking about that peppercorn sauce for a long time! Price was reasonable, we had two courses each!

They were doing two for one offer advertised in the window which was excelant. Returned 10 days later the sign had gone from the window but asked if the offer was still on and it was. Nut apart from that the food is excelent.

Friendly chippy loads of choice and happy to cater for all needs. (Mrs likes less batter on the fish and they did it perfectly) always friendly welcome and decent prices too.

China Chef

Best Chinese takeaway in Nelson. Food is amazing quality and piping hot every time. Generous portion sizes and you need to get the salt and pepper King prawns...absolutely huge and delicious. I never go anywhere else for Chinese.

Good Fortune

Decided to give Good Fortune a try this evening (Sunday) Service was spot on. Food was plentiful, enough for 2 meals. The containers were 1st class. The food very tasty. It is now top of my Chinese takeaway list in the area. (Until I get a bad meal)

Rau Senh Cantonese

Great Cantonese takeaway in Brierfield.

Dishes are tasty and fresh. Generous portions, including a great amount of duck / chicken / char siu / beef. Particular shout out to the beef and green peppers in black bean sauce (with extra chillies) and the deliciously spiced Cantonese spring rolls packed with mince.

We had a large order for 8 people and it was ready on time and piping hot. Thanks!

BBQ 2Night

First time ordering from this place. Having lived in Nelson for 2 years, and failed thus far to find a half decent kebab or pizza takeaway, I ordered without any expectation. We had a pepperoni pizza and super king kebab. Huge chunks of chicken tikka were complimented by the best lamb tikka I have had, and very good doner meat. This might be a bit spicy for some, the heat took me by surprise, so I'm glad I opted for mint sauce, and not chilli sauce.

I've given it 4 out of 5 for food because the naan bread wasn't really a naan bread, although it feels a little churlish to say, because that is always the least important part of a kebab, both the salad and mint sauce were sparse, with the salad consisting of not much more than a bit of shredded lettuce, and it's a personal preference to have doner meat well done to the point of being crisp. If I were basing this review on just the chicken tikka and lamb tikka, it would be a solid 5/5.

Can't comment on the atmosphere, but I've given it a 5 because the delivery was quick and professional.

The pricing represented very good value for what we had.

Overall would recommend. Am looking forward to trying a curry next time.
