“Glad to see it actually still open. Called in for a quick pint and some lunch as most other places didn't bother to open as early.Place is what it is to look at but the food and drink was spot on. The service was fantastic. I'd much rather sit in a place like that and eat food that Is really good served with a smile than some of the places available today. Don't judge a book by its cover is definitely appropriate for this place.Don't take my word for it go and try it out.”

“Visited yesterday for a family get together. Asked for as quiet a table as possible for a busy restaurant and again the staff kindly obliged. The staff are very friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. The food came out very quickly and it was delicious. A couple of us indulged in a dessert and they were very kind in swapping ice cream/cream for custard for my daughter. It is so pleasing to visit a restaurant who can help in this way and it certainly means we will visit again. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely meal. I forgot to take photos, will try harder next time”
