I enjoyed this place, out of the way with great views - one of those places that you could enjoy the view in the summer and enjoy the open fire in the winter - really nice food and friendly service.

Food was excellent but let down by customer service. Waitress appeared miserable and not friendly and at one point made us feel uncomfortable that she had to work, no checking in throughout the meal either. Bar staff pleasent. Very poor service when paying the bill, rude behaviour and confrontational, actually really rude and unprofessional dealing with issues. Really let such a lovely meal down.

An excellent and friendly place to get a really good meal. The food was superb, reasonably priced, and service was very good. A decent selection of beers too. We were a reasonably sized group of all ages, and the area to the side of the bar was excellent to accommodate us, without being totally separated from the bar area. Took advantage of the Monday to Wednesday food offers at the time. Definitely recommend the Shooters, and we will be visiting again!

Visited here whilst on a short break. We were welcomed by the waitress and looked after from the minute we entered. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was faultless. In fact it was so good we returned the following night which was just as good! Would definitely recommend you visit here if you have the chance.

Went up to the shooters Arms for dinner with a couple of mates for the new year, The food was lovely and the staff we're very polite and helpful. The live singer was incredible, sounded amazing. Followed by a DJ until the early hours. Really good night out we will certainly be coming back.

Booked a meal for new year 2023. saying it was new year the atmosphere was poor. No music, tables were bare and the Christmas tree that stood in the corner had been removed. Very disappointed. Just felt like a normal night and nothing special. Won't be returning and will be spreading the word.

Last minute decision to eat out on a wet Friday evening. The pub was lovely and cosy and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Husband ordered the pork burger and I ordered chicken breast with sautéed potatoes. Both were really delicious and we followed with 2 generous portions of fruit crumble. Apologies for one of our dogs almost pulling the table over and spilling a drink but Dave handled it without making a fuss.

Travelled only 3 miles from Colne - what a surprise! Remember this place from my childhood. Obviously it’s the same from the outside - amazing views over Pendle and plenty of parking. Pub inside is traditional and clean. The food was superb. Three guests - we had starters, mains and deserts, wine, brandy snd coffee. Bill came to around £115. As far as I’m concerned you get what you pay for - quality hot home cooked food and good service. This is super value. We left happy and full not a complaint even from my mum snd that’s not usual. If you want good food in a really lovely relaxed atmosphere give it a go. Well done and please keep it up, we will be back.

The service was great, the food is amazing, great flavour and presentation. Good value for money. Reading a recent negative review, they must have confused their experience with somewhere else.

Visited here for the first time late evening for sunday dinner last night as the locals recommended it I am abosolutely discusted at how we were treated one of the meals was uneatable as the meat was just all fat chewy and had an odd taste to it When i approached the bar for a red wine i asked. The bar manager named G politely if he could exchange the meat however he returned with the wine and did nothing the waitress Named M was very rude and abbrupt when politely asked for gravy as i could barely see any.on my plate She rudely said that will cost you extra we also had to sit for ages waiting with the meals they served without cutlery until i finally flagged her down and asked if it would be possible to have something to eat the meals with yes they went cold as we got the bill and explained her rudeness we asked what they would do about everything and M just said theres nothing i can do as theres no one in the building incharge one of my family members was asked to leave the building for complaining then were all asked to leave nothing was done about the unedible meal the service and rudeness we paid the very high bill and as i was leaving it turned out that G said with a grin on his face well yes the owner D was actually upstairs the whole time Never in my entire life have i ever been treated in such a discusting way very upsetting experience in a food establishment Has anyone else had a bad experience here ?
