“We called in a bit late one evening whilst on holiday hoping they would still be serving dinner. They were. The service was excellent as was the food. As a result, we booked in for Sunday lunch. Again, the service and food were amazing, there is an option for a small Sunday roast, which was ideal for my wife, plenty to eat but no left overs which saved me being stuffed from finishing her food, but did disappoint our dogs who were waiting patiently for the usual treats. Such a great place to eat, and dog friendly too.”

I had tempura prawns that were piping hot and delicious, roast beef that was thick, juicy and plentiful with veggies cooked to perfection, and indulgent Portuguese tart. Just utterly delicious. I will definitely be returning.”

“Nice country pub. Real ales available and an open fire. Low ceiling with exposed beams. Called in on a Wednesday evening, quite busy and a good atmosphere. Beer was reasonable @£4.10”
