Met up with some friend’s from Formby for a night out who suggested Aughton Miller and Carter. Was not disappointed steaks were superb and service from Judith was excellent as she made some recommendations which went down very well. She added to a great night out with friends I had not seen for a few months.

Came back again for the third time and we were not disappointed. This time we tried the chefs platter and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef. Our waitress Eleanor was excellent she ensured our dining experience went without a glitch. Eleanor was very attentive, very polite. We will return again and look forward to it. We would highly recommend this.

The waitress made two errors with our bill, two of us had eaten off the a la carte menu, therefore, I could use a £10 off £50 spend voucher that Miller & Carter promote as part of their app. The other two people in our party ate off the set lunch menu. On the first bill, we were charged full price for everything, then £10 discount = £116.00. The 2nd bill that they prepared, showed bill as £106.00 with no £10 discount. We asked that the bills be separated into two bills, which the waitress did, hence we had a bill for £56.00 and a bill for £40.00. However, on the £40 bill, the waitress charged £50.00. To correct this, we had to speak to the manager, Ben, who was extremely rude, did not listen to us and accused us of giving him the wrong bill to correct. We had to stand in the bar listening to him being rude and unprofessional for over 15 minutes until he voided the £50.00 bill and then charged the £40.00 bill. I emailed the restaurant to bring this to their attention and received an email back stating "Ben was trying to assist you in giving you two separate bills", which shows that my original email was not read correctly. We will no longer eat at this restaurant.

Forget GAUCHO.Had the most fabulous night here tonight for my friends birthday,Lovely food as always but the thing that sets this place apart is the service.Greeted by a lovely team of staff and then we were introduced to Alex our server - who literally couldn’t do enough for us.Attentive but not intrusive, knowledgable about the meat cuts and wine choice - funny and patient. ( we’re nearly 60 and talk a lot).He is just an asset to this company.Thank you Miller and Carter for a good night and thank you Alex for making it GREAT .❤️

Food & drinks: We arrived a little late at the restaurant, but it wasn't a problem and was pleasantly welcomed and shown to our table by Lizzie, who was courteous and polite.The staff were all very professional and polite, without being over attentive and we was served by several staff.Caitlin, Faye and Lizzie made our evening a very relaxed and pleasant one.The food was perfect, as usual, so credit to the team behind the scenes in the kitchen.Looking forward to returning again for another evening very soon.Thanks everyone.

we came for 3 nights 22 to 25 March for a birthday weekend away. We ate in the restaurant Fri night and booked to eat Saturday and Sunday nights too. Without exception staff are 1st class. We were served by Emma, Anna, Sam and. Michelle. Checked in by Jackie. 1st class food and serviceHotel rooms well appointed, plenty sockets.
