I visit my daughter at least once a month and we always try and eat somewhere different eat time. She knows I love Indian food, but also knows I'm fussy as I'm used to the real thing as I have previously worked in India, in Chennai. So a lot of English Indian food is disappointing as it is is too tailored to the English view of Indian food.Not this time! Absolutely amazing food, really authentic flavours.Had poppadoms whilst we pondered what to order and the pickles and chutneys had a good mix of flavours.The portions were generous and we left with full bellies.The staff were attentive and helpful, without being overbearing.100% will visit again

We are at the grand opening of Nellie’s . They have layed on a banquet and all you pay for is the drinks, how amazing is that. The service and food is beyond exceptional. This restaurant remains to be the best Indian restaurant for miles and miles around. It is certainly worth a drive to even if you aren’t local. The food is consistently fabulous. Thank you and all the best for the future we will certainly be returning again and again and again ??

Business trip as usual.Restaurant was really busy for a Tuesday evening.Front of house were attentive.Ordered the usual and wasn’t disappointed.The Chana with Aloo was nice (green chilli added)The Tandoori Mix was pleasant too.The Chapatis were a bit dry.Overall I did enjoy my dinner at Nellie.

Saturday 13/05/23 myself and my family came to Nellies as we had been told it was nice so we booked for an 18.30 table on arrival we where seated in the lounge within 5 minutes we where seated at our table the service was fantastic drinks. first then ordered our food that’s when the recommendations became a reality the food was fantastic I myself had south Asian chilli and garlic with lamb with kasmeia rice not to hot very nice meal throughout service fantastic food fantastic then we asked could we sit in the lounge to finish our drinks no problem all the family are looking forward to going back and the bill was not over the top for 5 people Thank You to all the staff for making a fantastic evening
