Today is 24/01/23, just been here. Slow service. Poor customer service. Stingiest portions ever seen. Paying the same price for a salad as a sandwich when they only stick 3 tomatoes, 3 cucumber and a handful of lettuce in there (same as they’d put on a sandwich). Didn’t even fill the scoop for the meat. Couldn’t be bothered to provide tuna when asked, said they were too busy, only 3 people in the queue. Sandwich artists my ****

Service at this place can vary depending on the time of day and which staff are working.Usually I am greeted warmly and served quickly, and sometimes converse with staff.Other times the queue can be very long and i can be waiting 10 minutes before I get to the front of the queue. However this is usually around lunch time and there are lots of students on campus.Despite these queues, sandwiches are usually made to my liking, with the exception of 1 or 2 times, which have been in very busy times. The ingredients feel fresh, and the food is always tasty, although sometimes quite messy. The seating area is usually clean and there is not a lack of seating, especially with the choice of eating in the SU.

Went to subway in edge hill university. Really nice environment and is very clean. Same options as a normal subway with the addition of SU shops and bars nearby and the best part is you don't even have to be a student to go to it! 10/10

Put me off Subway for life. The staff clearly didn't want my business. I asked for a footlong tuna and I was greeted with this response, "sorry we are only doing 6 inch subs today and you can only order one of them". I asked him why are you clearly advertising footlongs on your signage then and why haven't you put any signs up stating this (as I waited in the queue for 10 mins). Absolutely ridiculous customer care, I won't be going back to Subway ever again after this experience!!!

Today, i really wanted to come to the Public Speaking event, but I didn't find the venue SU1, where was it, nobody knows where is it, nor on facebook or edgehill website this is written, how I supposed to find it, may be next time it will be better to write not the shortest form of venue which is impossible to understand where it is located. Full title what this abbreviation means in the first place, the second where exactly this 1 located, in what building, thirdly what is around. Very disappointed by this experience.

25 minutes Iv just waited in lane and it wasn’t even that big queue! The staff are sooooooo slow it makes me want to cry! One girl making sandwich’s one girl on salad and one on the till and the other two looking busy but doing nothing! Their should be two making the sandwich’s and one doing the salad. I won’t go back in again I only get 30 minuets for lunch and subway have just stole 25 minuets of it!

All organisations have their flaws, and Edge Hill Students' Union has its flaws as well, but it is working to improve them. The problem with a diverse group of students with differing interests and beliefs means that universal approval is never going to happen. The Union has opened up new committees to target different students and represent them better, which I am appreciative of. I think they are working hard to fix problems one at a time, and I hope they continue.
