Could have been a pleasant experience in a small traditional pub but place was run down and not very clean, glasses were dirty, beer was off.

Went For few drinks, thought the place was closed , drinks where warm, and place wasn’t clean , my husband didn’t feel well the next day he said he was definitely not going back there I think the owner called Kevin has terrible attitude definitely dosnt want to be there hopefully it sells and they get someone decent.

The staff were great, just the place is in need of sprucing up, it was very dark inside.The accommodation was down in the grotty section, very cheap but not clean, old plates and dishes left in the room.

Great traditional pub, a log warming fire, a great pint or two of handled pulled traditional bitter.
Tetley bitter awful so is the guy that runs it .
Bad people not friendly enough need new people
