Been to other Toby Carverys and have to say not inpressed with this one meat chewy, having to ask where are starter was only to be told mmmm not sure, having to wait for glasses for drinks, staff stood behind bar talking desert was burnt come on how the heck do you burn chocolate cake ok after complaining fresh ones brought out with and attidude from staff.Cake still not the best. Will be contacting head office.

Lovely waitress who was very accommodating however very rude chef serving on carvery who we were informed was a head chef, blonde haired lady. After asking for new meat due to it being very fatty she huffed and puffed at me slamming plates down as she brought the new meat through, then when i was refilling my drink i was receiving dirty looks from her despite me remaining polite. Waitress informed us they don’t get to keep their tips and tables that walk out without paying get took out of her pay… appalling. brunette young waitress was lovely

Our server, Cole was superb. He was friendly and professional, and checked in with us on the quality of food. Really impressed with his customer service.Food was tasty and plentiful. A good choice for dinner.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie choices that are tasty and filling.

The worst cheese sandwich ever. Basic shop brown bread. No butter. Dry bag salad. Monosyllabic service. My brother had something else with a side of soggy roast potatoes.

The food was cold and the potatoes and meat were hard. The pop from the refillable dispenser was flat when it was reported noone changed it. Sorry wouldn't go again

whilst the food was alright, a bit dry but bearable, the carver at the front of the restaurant was quite rude to us. whilst this didn't completely ruin our experience, it still left a bad taste in my mouth. not only was he rude to us, but from where we were sat, we could see through the kitchen doors and another member of staff was clearly on their break and he went up to them using foul language seeming to be quite aggressive from where we were sat. as a union representative, the way staff is treated by their superiors says a lot about the workplace. it's absolutely appalling that toby carvery allows their managerial staff to treat and speak to their inferiors in this way. not long after this, i saw the same worker leave the restaurant obviously quite upset and distraught. the whole experience made my meal very uneasy, to think that toby carvery has always provided a good atmosphere, i was completely shocked. i hope this issue gets resolved as this worker has always been nothing but nice and welcoming to me and my family and i wouldn't want this experience to soil my opinion of the restaurant as a whole.

1st of all, you really cant complain about an all you can eat breakfast for the very low price that it is. So this isnt a complaint just a regular guy who loves food commenting on my own personal experience. Staff are great no problem and the food selection is great......but..... its really hit n miss on how well cooked or undercooked the eggs/bacon/sausage is. I understand they are cooking to the masses but sometimes food well done sometimes just cooked. So juat a heads up thats all (not complaint) that if you go and it was perfect to your liking then it may be different next time you go. But i will keep going back

We arrived without making a prior booking and were friendly welcomed. The food was excellently prepared and very tasty.We will definitely return.
We can't complain about the service, it was exceptional. Even after we had a spillage of a pint all over one of my cousins. They cleared it up but couldn't do much about my cousins trousers, which absolutely drenched. The food was OK but not hot enough, unfortunately. The place was quite quiet, but it was lunchtime midweek.Vegetarian options: My daughter is a vegetarian and her son has multiple allergies which is a shame for him as he can't eat things he likes.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is a vegetarian and her son has multiple allergies which is a shame for him as he can't eat things he likes.Parking: Parking was great and very easy, but it was quiet, but still plenty of parking for even when it's busy. Unfortunately, the council are installing speed cameras outside the restaurant at the 5 way traffic lights and that was a nightmare, but half of the problem was impatience people forming a gueue on the wrong side of the road. There was a 5-way traffic light system in place.Kid-friendliness: My grandson was accommodated with all his allergies. Poor thing. He loves bananas but can't have them just like his Nana. It's such a shame.

Unfortunately this Toby carvery was not good at all we usually go to tne bay horse in formby which is outstanding this carvery certainly was not good food was luke warm roast potatoes were awful chef behind the servery certainly wasn’t welcoming to say the least one slice of meat I only had gammon yorkshires cold and soggy service was quite slow but friendly unfortunately I will not be returning and do not recommend this carvery

The staff were amazing, friendly, smiling, helpful.The atmosphere was lovely, everywhere was clean.The carvery was delicious, lots of choices and hotTo top it all, Alyssa noticed we were there for my son’s birthday (29)and he got a birthday tray with ice cream, and Happy Birthday on the tray in icing sugar ☺️Parking: Easy to access, loads of spaces

We tried to come during the week at 5 pm but when we arrived we were told there was no meat, and it would be at least an hour! Unbelievable! But when we returned on the Saturday, it was great - a very good deal for the carvery, and a lot of choice.
