Delicious food and welcoming, personable service. We ordered a different dish each so we could sample each others. All were equally delicious. We'll be back to try the new menu in a few weeks.

Really excellent slightly alternative Indian food cooked by a chef at the top of her game.

Another amazing visit to Dalvee tonight. 3 of us dined and all had starters and desserts. The starters were so refreshing. Setting us up for a feast of flavours for our mains. Their menu has a different twist compared to what you might expect of a typical Indian restaurant. The focus on flavours is really well thought out and the whole experience each time we visit is simply next level!!! Thank you team Dalvee Poulton

Fabulous place and fabulous food and service. I am allergic to onions and they put on FB that they could do dishes onion free. I certainly wasn't disappointed. I was given a choice of 2 starters and they had made me a chicken curry. I chose to have the platter, which includes a bread and a rice plus sald and a dip. It was fabulous. Dalvee herself came to talk to us at the end too. All my friends really enjoyed their meals too. This place is lovely and I would highly recommend it. I will defo be going back.

What an amazing restaurant. Authentic Indian food prepared with pride and passion. Super friendly service from start to finsh with a visit to your table from Chef to top the whole experience off. A small, focussed menu with quality ingredients provided our party with the best Indian food we've ever eaten. No food clourings here, just expertly prepared, perfectly spiced dishes to die for. This place is a class act.

All staff were attentive and knowledgeable but the standout was Seema (owner / chef) personally guiding us through the menu. Even when dining on NYE she took the time to take us through the menu and offer insights that enhanced our dining experience. It's a must-visit for those seeking not just great Indian cuisine but also a warm and personalised touch. Seema shows other restaurants how 5* service should be done!

Visited for dinner with friends this evening and ordered the “a little bit of everything starter” and the chef’s selection Thali platter. The food was excellent and the service was good. The chef came to the table to see that we were happy - which we were! Highly recommmended!

An absolutely amazing culinary experience. This is not your ordinary Indian, this is the real deal!! The trio of curries were delicious, service was first class. Dalvee is most definitely the place to try.

I came from London and I must say that Poulton are extremely lucky to have such a high quality restaurant with such affordable prices. The service was amazing, and the concept was great (that you could try a trio of curry’s if you couldn’t choose one). The quality of the food was delicious - top two if not the best Indian food I have had. The cocktails were also good and 2 for £15 which is a great price. I cannot wait to return, hopefully for a cooking class.

Really nice food but would have been better if all the meals had arrived together . Very tasty but lacked quantity . Would return but would be mindful of what will order to make sure left full and satisfied.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants north of London. The food is authentically Indian and perfectly spiced. The menu is thoughtfully put together and we especially appreciated how food from some of the major states were well represented. Chef Seema Dalvee is an amazing woman and we will certainly come again on our next visit to this part of the world!

I've just had my first visit to Dalvee where I've gone from not being a big fan of Indian cuisine in general to thinking this might be my new favourite restaurant of all time! For your first time i recommend you try the "can't make your mind up" dishes (essentially tapas Dalvee style) ...just wow! Every single dish was flavoursome, divine and almost impossible to choose a favourite between them. The staff were fabulously efficient, friendly and helpful and the chef/owner an absolute delight with a genuine interest in everything being just right. Absolutely perfect place in every way.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables and disabled friendly toilet on ground floor

Another faultless visit to this incredible restaurant. It was very busy with a wedding party upstairs but the staff were amazing and service excellent. We took relatives from Scotland and they loved it. The food is fresh and very tasty. Menu changes every 3 weeks and it’s Seema’s family and traditional recipes, sometimes with a twist. It’s not your average Indian restaurant with your standard menu and ‘gravy’ base. Every dish is individual. I can’t recommend it enough.
