This is one of the best Indian restaurants north of London. The food is authentically Indian and perfectly spiced. The menu is thoughtfully put together and we especially appreciated how food from some of the major states were well represented. Chef Seema Dalvee is an amazing woman and we will certainly come again on our next visit to this part of the world!
I've just had my first visit to Dalvee where I've gone from not being a big fan of Indian cuisine in general to thinking this might be my new favourite restaurant of all time! For your first time i recommend you try the "can't make your mind up" dishes (essentially tapas Dalvee style) ...just wow! I came from London and I must say that Poulton are extremely lucky to have such a high quality restaurant with such affordable prices. The service was amazing, and the concept was great (that you could try a trio of curry’s if you couldn’t choose one). The quality of the food was delicious - top two if not the best Indian food I have had. The cocktails were also good and 2 for £15 which is a great price. I cannot wait to return, hopefully for a cooking class.
