My visit to the thatched house pub was absolutely brilliant. Fantastic range of lagers, beers and ales to choose from. The staff are amazing and the manager of the pub is fabulous. I cannot fault anything because the pub is the best.

Christmas Eve visit (Sunday) at a little after 1pm and it was very quiet, which was unexpected.However, it began to fill up around an hour later which gave for a better atmosphere.It's over 2 years since we last visited. A nice old pub with decent seating. Quick service at the bar during our time there.Worth a visit if you haven't been in before and it has a lot of regular customers.
Always a warm welcome when you come here with the roaring coal fires. The three cask ales tried were bob on in perfect condition served by some great bar staff. A proper drinkers pub, if you do need some scran you can buy from the Pork shop across the churchyard and consume within. 5 minutes away from the railway station??
