Pretty busy pub but quite nice with a decent atmosphere. Saturday bit crowded for my liking due to seating issues so get there early enough if ya don't wanna stand!

A top class Spoons with fast, efficient and friendly service. With big hitters like Plum Porter and Jaipur cask ales on sale - you can see why it’s been in the Good Beer Guide for the past 9 years. Well worth a visit and only about a 10 minute walk from the railway station.

Sunday evening, lots of drunk adults with kids screaming strategically place away from parents. Easy parking but you have to pay. Fast but over efficient service (ot personal). May have been a busy day and staff now running on auto piolet. I will go again but not a Sunday ...Parking: Council Park, they have removed disabled bays for electric ⚡ cars. In other words more profit.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very friendly for wheelchair user.No access from car park due to tables in front of side gate.

I had the steak pudding we ordered at 11:50 so not very busy, it was dry around the top, my mash was solid around the edges. And the gravy was in two mini sauce pots. My lad had a gammon that came with no egg, not sure if it was on the menu or not but who offers gammon with no egg?
