The tipsy cow burger, soo dry. Wasn't nice at all. Myself and wife found a table and sat down. A couple of minutes later, a young lady approached us and told us the table we were sat at was reserved and we only had 40 minutes before they came in. No reserved sign was in the table, but ok fair enough. We decided to move to another table just so we didn't have to rush and leave the table free. We moved to a two seat table. We sat down a d began to read the menu, and literally 2 minutes later, the same lady came to our table and placed a reserved sign on our table, so again we were rushed. Also a few minutes later another group entered the place and sat at our original table and the lady didn't approach them at all. Such rude service. Won't go back

Great food, good value and impeccable service. The atmosphere was great with good music and a good vide in general. We had the Corndogs and wings for starters and Southern fried chicken burger and hot dog with pulled pork for main.A good selection of beers was available too.My only complaint was that the tall table.opposite the bar which we were on was a bit wobbly, but it didn't detract from the experience.Definitely worth a visit.

Biggest and best burger I've ever had! ??

Nothing more than average. Dry burger and clearly pre-packed dessert waffles re-heated. Really disappointing as I’d heard good things. Lovely setting and service was great in both speed and politeness, but food quality really let it down.

I ordered the tipsy cow burger, and I must say when it arrived it did look impressive and huge. However that was as far as it went. It really was the most dry and tasteless burger I have ever had. My missis had the pulled a porker burger and she said the same, very very dry and tasteless. The shakes were nice but didn't make up for the whole experience. Shame. Waitress was friendly but distant. Won't go again.

Liked the look of this place so gave it a try early on a Saturday evening. Aware it was a bar/restaurant, I though we might be OK to grab a quick family meal before the Poulton mafia arrived... I was wrong. At 6pm on a Sat, this place is 95% bar and 5% restaurant.A terrible sound system with way too much bass ensures that you can't converse with anyone without shouting.Online, the food looked appealing and delicious, it looks that way when it arrives too. Unfortunately, this food is a classic example of style over substance.Of our three meals, all three patties were bone dry and lacking any seasoning. The huge slab of hard chorizo on my burger was surprisingly tasteless and quite challenging. The halloumi brought nothing to the party at all, not even the usual squeaky teeth. The buns, although fancily branded with the Tipsy Cow logo, were dry and tasted like a gluten-free product.Three positives: one of the waitresses was helpful and polite, the coke was cold and the fries were tasty.Save yourself £30 and get a better burger at Mcdonalds. Yes, you may be surrounded by teenage chavs while you eat that, but you'll only be surrounded by their older siblings at this place.

Birthday / family tea, first time I’d been, choice of the younger ones. Great menu - burgers / wrap / wings etc. Staff were great - will visit again.

Well this is the first meal in a long time that me and my husband just ate and no words apart from the occasional hmmm. Beautiful. For the price which is very reasonable this place is a hidden gem. I even changed the bun to lettuce as seen in the pictures, so if your like me where too many carbs make you feel like you have ate a brick, this option was amazing. The onion rings are proper with fresh onion, delicious ? They also do take away !!!!

Atmosphere: Good Server: Very Good …but the kitchen let it down, took way too long to get 3 burgers out and when mine arrived (the tipsy cow burger) it was over cooked and dry, so dry I had to order another drink. A bit of a dampener on what is a nice little place to get some grub.

Rang up and told we didn't need to book, so we turned up at 6 pm on a Sunday. We got a table for 2, and the restaurant was half full. The waitress who served us was absolutely lovely, really friendly. We ordered a chicken burger (dont tell the colonel) and a beef burger (groundhog), both with salt and pepper fries and a side of onion rings. The food took ages to come, we were waiting for about 45 minutes, if not longer. Now I wouldn't mind waiting for our food if it was amazing but sadly it wasn't. Both burgers were completely dry, and the salt and pepper fries lacked any seasoning and were really soggy. The onion rings were lovely in the defence of the chef. I was really disappointed with the meal as I have been before and it was delicious but having a dry beef burger is just unacceptable. I did mention to the waitress not because I expected any discount but to make the chef aware as I had left the majority of it, but i didn't hear anything back. We had also asked another waitress for sauce, and this never transpired, so we had to ask the waitress who took out food order. We noticed that people with just eat bags kept coming in an out, so I am wondering if this was the reason for the long delay and dry, soggy food? I appreciate that just eat is another way to generate business, but when it is at the detriment to sit down customers, I don't think it is fair. Like I said we have eaten here before so maybe Sunday was just an off day but I am hesitant to return or recommend sadly.
