Great selection of well kept beers, welcoming good

A well kept historic pub. Cask and a reasonable selection so long as you like Robinsons.

Great traditional pub, good ale and a listed building with original Victorian tiled

Mr Aubergine

Amazing traditional snug pub with real ales on tap, beautiful tiled bar and mosaic floor.

Good pub, with awards, but the bar staff today was a young ignorant lad whom did not have any manners or clean hands, barred a seemingly pleasant lad at the orders of the landlord, without the land lord explaining or doing it himself, or explaining to the staff why.

Nice old school pub, real ales and ciders. And an open coal fire.

Richard Selby

First time in a pub for 30 years took my visitors from Spain some great characters in there and the decor was authentic

Beer very good but expensive compared with many other pubs

Simon Gooch

One of THE most beautiful pubs in Preston with a beer lineup to match now Robinson's have let the staff put guests on alongside their own ale.

A CAMRA Good beer guide entry. A Robinson's outlet with guest ales is a very rare find. Four Robbies (incl Old Tom winter ale at 8.5%..years ago it was only sold in 1/3 pint glasses..because one pint got you drunk!) plus five guest ales and a real cider. Jorvic had a pint of Lakeland Gold at 4.4% from Lakeland. Madge however did not like any of the lagers and had a Pepsi. Lovely pub, super architecture. Four downstairs rooms plus upstair function room. Mixed clientel.
