A good traditional town centre pub retaining some heritage features such as the very pleasant seating booths and decorative screens. There is an interesting 'window' in the floor revealing the cellar. An OK ale range for my visit and three ales and a cider were on the six available hand pumps. Alongside the dreaded John Smith’s smooth were Old Mill Brewery Styrian Wolf bitter, and Black Sheep’s Monty Pythons Holy Grail Ale plus a cider and these were in decent nick. After 2 months of weekly LGBTQ+ nights, I can say without a doubt this is my favourite local experience in my 3 years in Preston. We always get our favourite booth, drink to our heart's content and sing along to the expressive karaoke. Can't reccomend enough!
