We stayed in the accommodation recently and thought it very good. Warm, comfortable and good value.

Two words sum it up, - "Top Quality". The food is always excellent, the service is very good, the staff are accomodating and friendly and the beer always as a good pint should be. The pub and restaurant are spotlessly clean, and the premises are impressive. This is a gem of a place, well run by Dan, a manager who knows his business. A very popular place that deserves all the success it is enjoying. ( and the prices are very reasonable). What`s not to like? Perfect!

Dog friendly in the main pub. Dan and his team pride friendly service. The food is good and the portions are plentiful. I've eaten here twice. Both times staying in the self catering cottages. Two in our group are vegetarian and they had good options for them too.

Awesome food, very reasonably priced. We stayed in one of the bungalows on site, Mon - Fri with our little staffy dog. Pub isn't open on Mondays or Tuesdays, but we were already aware of this before we went away. Landlord is extremely friendly and helpful, had a couple of chats with him as well as having a free night of comedic entertainment watching him try, unsuccessfully, to light the fire ??? all in all a brilliant experience, would definitely recommend, and we are hoping to visit again soon ?

Kind staff, such a lovely friendly atmosphere. Had dinner with my husbands family. Portions were huge! And the food was incredible. Best chips ive ever had at a pub and my husband said it was the best chicken burger he’d ever had. We cant wait to return!

We are regular visitors and have never been disappointed for lunch or dinner Wide range of perfectly cooked locally sourced dishes with bar snacks and sandwiches also Busy so better to book for larger parties Big portions, excellent local beer and nice wine list without any of the ridiculous mark-ups found elsewhere

Cheese and Onion pie with chips and beans was absolutely sensational. Simple, no fuss food and they absolutely nailed it. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. All round we had a lovely time when we were there.

This is how a country pub should be run. Friendly welcome from the moment you walk in. A good selection of beers. The menu has all the usual favourites and they have an interesting specials board. The children on our group were well catered for and all the food was excellent. Its good to get a side dish of seasonal vegetables. A relaxed evening. They have kept their prices reasonable, compared to other pubs in the area..
