“We arrived around 1pm and the young man who greeted us told us the time the food would be served and showed us to our table and brought our drinks to us whilst we were waiting. The food arrived promptly and with a smile. We had a chat and giggle with the woman that served us. The food was hot and very nice, the young woman let us know that the plate was very hot and to be careful. The staff were efficient and friendly, the place was very clean, including the toilets and we would definitely visit again. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.”

“This was a brilliant pub for drinking, with a colourful, quirky design! This is contributed to by the decorations like banners and objects hanging from the ceiling, lighting is really nice too. Counter is stylish with the name scribbled in blue and I enjoyed a pint of Japanese beer, outdoor seating was really nice for the sun!”

“Stopped in whilst passing coming home from a weekend away and so glad we did , beautiful pub lovely beer garden, dog friendly and a lovely experience to end a weekend away . I had the inside out chicken Kiev and my fella had the prime beef burger highly recommend both , we will definitely return . A lovely warm welcome from all staff who chatted with us and made us feel relaxed and looked after.Well done to the whole team .”

Looking from the outside I thought do I really want to go in here. On entering it was Wow what a lovely cosy pub. The lady behind the bar was lovely, and friendly. We had a couple of nice pints before we had to catch our train. This was our first visit to Preston. We will come again and visit the Old Vic and maybe accidentally miss our train.
