We went to the "Burns Celebration Lunch" on Sunday. The first time we have been to The Old Bank. We were very impressed with the cosy, pleasant restaurant. The three course meal we had was delicious. The best restaurant meal we have had for a long while. Our compliments to the Chef, the Sous Chef who served our meals and not least to the lovely Front of House lady who made us most welcome. I had Christmas dinner here this year. I wasn't expecting much after a dreadful dinner a few years ago at a well known place in Wrea Green. The Old Bank surpassed my expectations. The food was great, the staff were brilliant and the venue was beautiful. A great Christmas meal.
I booked this venue for a private function as it is local to us, and I must say that from my initial enquiry and the night, it was perfect! Julie, Andrew and their team couldn't do enough to cater for my parties needs, (which I realised, weren't as straight forward as I had thought!).
