Less busy than usual, said Google. We found free parking, got a table, ordered meals and drinks, and it was all very very good. The carvery offered a choice of three meats plus a wide range of veggies, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy. Small plate, just over a tenner. Great value. No room for dessert. If this review was helpful please give it a like below.Parking: Plenty of free parking adjacent. Spotted EV charging point too.

Our first time there on Friday our date night, but definitely not our last. Definitely recommend, we had to wait abit for food, but it was really busy I had the carvery the meat was cooked to perfection lots of choice vegetables roast potatoes could have been a little crisper but I loved all of it and dessert was delicious too..

Food was really bad.We pre booked tables and no one seemed to have a clue. There was meant to be a quiz on that was advertised online that wasn't on either.

We came for Christmas dinner - staff were lovely & super attentive. Food was so fresh & the selection couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much!

We ordered the small carvery which was served on what you would call a side plate. However due to the quality of the food you wouldn't want a large one. The roast beef wasn't bad, parsnips would need a saw to cut through them "roast potatoes" tasted like boiled spuds chucked in some old cooking oil. Yorkshire pud was rock hard on top and had a soggy bottom. Food was just about warm enough to eat but went cold quite soon. The vegetables are obviously not being replaced until the serving dishes are empty and are languishing on some sort of inferior hot plate for too long. The only staff seemed to be two pleasant young girls who were doing everything. Would not recommend. The prices for the "Pub Classics" are very steep and there is no option for sandwiches or toasties if you want a light snack.

A night out with some work colleagues and wives . We did not eat this time I have many times in the past always great food service and prices. I love the Joseph Holt stout a match for Guinness. A nice venue to meet friends and just Talk.
