I used to visit this tea shop many years ago with my dear Mum. It seemed to go down somewhat so this was my first time in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised. I wet yesterday with my friend and again with family today. We all had different snacks… all delicious and obviously homemade. Now, I make an excellent chicken broth but theirs challenged mine! Always a friendly and accommodating welcome. Happy to make any changes or special requests to the menu. In the past I have asked for a vegetarian breakfast which is not on the menu and they created over and above what I have been given in other local cafes. Today we tested them again by asking for omelettes, again not on the menu. We were not disappointed with eggs only omelettes full of mushrooms peppers and onions as ordered with coleslaw and salad on the side. Lovely atmosphere...read full review

A few of us go regularly to this cafe and never had a bad experience The home made soups the sandwiches and presentation excellent The staff friendly and helpful The broccoli and Stilton soup is wonderful ! Try for yourself recommended
