“Our first visit here after many years, and was delighted to see, that although it has been refurbished, it still retains its traditional charm. Sunday lunch was excellent, my sticky chicken starter was one of the best I have had for a long time. We shall not leave it as long before we return again.”

“My favourite restaurant... well worth 5 star... but the BIG negative, hence the four stars, is the "optional 10% service charge", really annoys me, this is my choice, not yours! I always ask for it to be removed, then I decide if the service has been good!”
