“First visit in a very long time. Did not disappoint and so glad we came. Service from staff was excellent from the minute we arrived. Comfortable, cosy and welcoming. Tomato soup as a starter was so tasty, good size portion with crusty bread and butter. Garlic bread was a man size portion and also very good. I had a chicken roast dinner - half a chicken cooked to perfection, four delicious vegetables, mashed and roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and stuffing. Gravy and condiments completed the dish. Could not fault any of it. My partner had a beef roast and the meat was cooked, carved and presented perfectly. The portions were ample. Thankyou Chef. The cost matched the quality, and all I can say is; you get what you pay for and more. We will be back and certainly recommend. Enjoyed the experience, it was well worth a visit.”
