Food has changed. Meatballs are now small tiny fake meatballs in the Monza. They did not taste like meatballs. The pollo meal the chicken is now small cubes of chicken with rigatoni pasta. The taste has changed and will be the last time I eat at Ask. Also the prices of the food is so so expensive now for what you get. No wonder why it was empty and they are losing business. Used to be our favourite place now it’s the least favourite.

Very small restaurant maybe the size of a cafe but the food was good, little bit expensive however. It seemed understaffed, only one server and one chef but they did a good job and didn’t rush us, made sure we had what we needed.

Thank you to Michael who despite the fact he was run off his feet and on his own still was very attentive to our family of 5. Food was delicious too so thank you to the chef who was also alone in a busy restaurant.

It's a really nice Italian Restaurant. The service was great, they serve you at the beginning a little shot-like lemonade (alcohol free) that's really tasty!Then the cheese foundee was great, and the pasta was amazing!!! The pizza was really good also!We had a good time!!

Visiting from Canada. Had lunch. Good first impression. Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed. If it weren’t for the server(Michael )and chef’s efficiency, it would have easily been a disastrous experience. Having been involved in the restaurant business for over 40 years, I can assure you that you won’t be able to hold on to good staff with this business model. Please take this as constructive criticism.

Have been here on several occasions, and always have a great time. The service is good, and the food is always fantastic. Went with the 3 course option on the festive menu for £27. I wasn't disappointed.

Nice family meal over the Christmas period. The food decent and service good. Slight downside was the addition of a service charge automatically to the bill which I believe was an extra £60 for a table of 9. I think it was removed on request but it should be the other way round in my opinion and put on at the customers request.

We eat here at least once a month and we always receive great service from Monika, Michael and their team. The food is always good with a great choice of drinks as well. I would recommend Ask in Ashby without hesitation.

A few weeks ago, my first time in Ashby, I saw the restaurant which looked amazing so couldn't resist but to try. I am so glad I did. It was a quite day, so Michael who was serving, made sure we had the best service and food was just as great. He was so friendly and welcoming, I found myself oversharing some information that made me sound a little crazy because I had never met him before. However, there was no judgment and he was relaxed and laughed with me about them. I will be sure to visit again with my aunty so he can be updated on the next chapter. Worth every penny!

Crowded and noisy, too many people piled in . The food wasn't very warm and pasta looked like it had been thrown in the bowl with a bit of sauce chucked in . Staff rushed off their feet and the customer paying for not great food .
