Enjoyed our stop for lunch on our day out. Sat outside in courtyard area. Nice choice of lunches. Took our dogs with us.

Called here with my husband and elderly father on Sunday. It was lovely 6 years ago when I first went there with dad. Today, service was slow, a smile from staff would have been nice but I guess that would have cost more. Food was overpriced and unimaginative in its presentation, over cooked and very disappointing. I work in a public house kitchen in a prime Devon location. Our food is similarly priced but it's edible and memorable. What a shame. Never again!!

Unpleasant experience\\nAt 4:10 pm was told I couldn’t buy a drink due to them cashing up unless I had right cash\\nWhy say you are open till 4:30pm if you are going to do this to customers ? M rubbish customer service

Called here for drinks and snack whilst visiting the garden centre. No tbeen here for a long time. Good selection of food and drinks and reasonable price. It was a lovely morning and we sat outside in the shade. The good thing for me was they did Gluten free toast. Everything was lovely

This is a lovely place to come for lunch or just a snack. There is a good menu with everything from hot meals to sandwiches and cakes. The food we had took a little while to come as it was really busy but was well worth the wait. Everything was hot and well cooked. Chips were delicious. There's a large seating area bit can get a bit warm as it's under glass.

Had a meal whilst visiting the garden centre, as it is attached wish I hadn't bothered, awful food service was poor coffee was tasteless, had the soup it looked like it came out a packet. Picture makes the place look very nice in reality it's old dirty falling down needs a makeover, would definitely not visit again.

My wife and I visited this so called restaurant on 5 May 2022 for lunch. We initially sat outside because we have a dog and the weather was quite nice. The outside seating area was filthy and had not been properly cleaned in days. There was a plastic container for dog water which was green and obviously hadn’t been changed in days. We eventually moved inside into a small area reserved for dog owners as the weather deteriorated. My wife ordered fish and chips and I ordered fish cake and chips. She also had a pot of tea and I had a coffee. My wife’s fish was disgusting and not fit for the cat. The batter was hard and my wife had to scrape the fish out of it. The fish itself was grey and tasteless. The chips were ghastly and everything had obviously been pre-prepared. The coffee was indescribable. We did tell the waitress who explained there was a problem with fish supplies which is not our problem. Never again. It was all rather disappointing as I can remember when you could get a nice meal here.

2 cappuccinos , cheese on toast, poached eggs on toast just short of £16 £2.80 for a cappuccino which was from a press the the button instant machine awful tasting synthetic flavour unable to finish cheese on toast was OK but the poached eggs were awful all snotty and bitty and on cold toast with even colder salad will never eat or drink again will go to the Ferrers cafe on the other side

Visited the restaurant yesterday afternoon. Only one other table occupied. We ordered three meals and a scone with drinks. The scone arrived pretty quickly but when cutting it open it was very dry. We asked for it to be warmed and as cream teas were advertised asked for some cream and jam. Neither were available. Food order was fish and chips for two and a beef burger. After about 10 minutes the fish meals arrived. They did not look very appertising. Poor quality fish and chips tasted like cardboard. After a few minutes the burger did not arrive. When asking if it was coming a very sullen girl said "probably". After another wait the waitress came to the table waving a piece of paper and telling us we had not ordered or paid for a burger. We explained it had been ordered . We were then told we hadn't paid for a burger. The order was placed and paid for. With hindsight that was a mistake again cardboard tasting chips and a tasteless burger. We certainly will not be eating at the Peach House again. Waiting staff need training on customer service and actually listening to customers. I would also add that the self service cutlery was dirty I handled 5 knives before I found 4 I was prepared to use. This tea room has the potential to be really good it is in a very nice setting. But sadly very tired canteen furniture and sullen staff let it down.

Chips like cardboard. Scone very dry. Staff inattentive and sullen. Our meals were served 10 minutes apart.

very limited range and certainly not a restaurant as advertised more of a cafe. ambiance disappointing in a simple old greenhouse previously used by the garden centre

What a dirty place! First of all we had to ask for a table to be cleared and cleaned before we could sit down, not a good start. Floor needed a good sweep and mopping...Cups, saucers , milk jug , teapot and tray all need a good scrubbing. On looking around us we noticed the blinds had seen better days all stained , Large cobwebs in the corners infested with dead flies. Wouldn't recommend visiting this place.

We went here with a view to combine with visiting the Garden Centre. The place is big but equally bland and soulless. We only had two cappuccinos and coconut and lime cake. Service slow. The coffees tasted sachet based and the cake was uninspiring. If the prices were low then this would’ve been overlooked but they weren’t. Reading past reviews it would appear the managers don’t - otherwise perhaps these known problems would’ve and should’ve been resolved ages ago. We won’t be going back. This isn’t fair on the garden centre/staff itself which compares well in comparison. Try Southwell or Denby Garden Centres if in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire … both much better value and memorable for the right reasons. Peach House has the potential to perform with its competitors - but will need a top down review before that happens.

Not served for ages. Lady who served was useless. Struggled to answer questions coherently. Didn’t answer at all when I asked questions about her previous response. Took ages to make a pot of tea. I could make better cakes at home than the selection that was out on display. Whole place is tired and basic. Won’t bother going back!
