“After hearing that the Snibstone had changed hands I was curious to see what changes had been made. I must say I am pleasantly surprised by a number of things. There was live entertainment when I visited and the vibe was great. The demeanour of the staff and the way they greet newcomers the same as regulars, makes you feel at ease right away. The choice of drinks rivals any establishment and the prices are very affordable. The fact they also now do food and have an up and running kitchen is another wow factor. I am an avid sport lover and they cater for that too with TNT sports. There is also a pool table, 2 dart boards and the pub is dog friendly too, with a tin full of treats for furry friends. Whilst I didn't eat this time the meals being served looked great and decent portions too. Will definitely be back soon.”

“We went a few weeks ago and now keep going back. The carvery is amazing, big choice of veg and the mash and roast potatoes are delicious. The staff went above and beyond for my coeliac daughter and we really appreciated the extra effort that was made for her.”

“The food was very nice. I had the home made Doner kebabs and they were very tasty with a good sized naan. The pie and chips was fantastic (which begs the question why serve some meals with the cheap fries when the chips are so good).
Food service was friendly and fast but we did have 2 meals missed off the order (which we'd pre-booked) and there were sometimes long queues for the bar for drinks.
Nice atmosphere to the place, even with the football on and two birthday parties it still felt very family friendly. We'll definitely be returning ?”

“Someone crashed into my wife’s car outside this pub and they gave her a false number. Unfortunately she did not get a registration. When the number would not ring we asked this pub if they had CCTV and they managed to provide the car’s registration. They didn’t have to do this and I suspect that most landlords would not take the time to help.”
