This is one of the best pubs around especially if you're a veteran, never in so many pubs visited has one been so connected to veterans and their families , great service , great, wonderful, friendly staff, ? a no nonsense pub for great times, great banter, great crowds of great people.
This is a fantastic locals' pub. The staff are brilliant, always the life and sole of that party. Speaking of which, there's always something happening! They also do a load of work in supporting veterans, ranging from one on one work with some to full blown charity events. The pub itself is clean and cosy, there's a lovely little garden at the back. The selection of drinks is good and the prices are reasonable.

A great community pub - that puts the community at the centre of everything they do! It's all painted up for the veterans and they do absolutely loads for them! Beyond that, it's always a fun place to be; the staff are fantastic, the customers are friendly and they've always got something going on. The pub is cosy, with a lovely outside area. Cannot recommend enough.
