if i could rate this place higher i would, orissa is the best indian restaurant i have ever been to . The food is absolutely gorgeous and always exceeds expectations. The staff are very friendly and attentive and offer the best service you will find . I also order deliveries from orissa and the service and food is just as fresh and good as you were sat in the restaurant. i’ve also been in the kitchen a few times to meet the chefs and staff , and the kitchen is so clean and well set out , 5 star ? through and through ?????

Bernie was the star of the show. He was Amazing! However, restaurant was very average. We booked a table for 7pm, but didn’t get our starters until 8:20pm, and mains 9:20pm. Never waited so long in any restaurant! 3 hours from start to finish! Staff were friendly. Chicken shashlik was great, but korma and balti were awful. Expensive for what it is and couldn’t believe the wait for food! Won’t be back, sorry.

I can't say enough good things about Orissa.Most importantly the food was spectacular. The first thing I did when I got home was look for Rajasthani curry recipes after trying the one at Orissa.The presentation and atmosphere made the entire experience feel special.Everybody there seemed to love their job and took real pride in what they do.We will definitely be going here again.

Four of us went to this establishment on Saturday 27th January and as always the food was very good, however when we tried to settle the bill using Orissa gift vouchers as part payment we we're told that they could only accept one voucher and the others would have to be used at another time. We said this can't be right as you have already received payment for the vouchers so are in fact like cash. They weren't interested in our point but we stood firm and in the end they very reluctantly accepted the vouchers. This is the second time we have experienced a issue with their vouchers as before we were told that they are unable to reimburse any amount from a part used voucher we didn't spend.They need to realise that they have already been paid once for their vouchers so can't expect people to pay again!!

Really amazing place, this. After a quick Google, Orissa was the highest rated Indian Restaurant in Castle Donington and I can certainly say it lived up to the expectations. Everything from the service and the food itself to the actual atmosphere of the place was brilliant. Staff were also extremely polite and friendly. Highly recommend! 10/10Wheelchair accessibility: This didn’t apply to us, but we did see a wheelchair user being able to access the building which was fantastic!

My friend and I went to Orissa for the first time this evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles and shown to our table. The staff were attentive and our food came out at a good time.The food itself… absolutely beautiful!! The flavour profiles in each dish were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The portions are really good sizes, we couldn’t finish our meals and bought the rest home with us.The price is good value and we’ll be definitely going back again.Thank you for a lovely evening.Parking: You have to enter your registration upon entering the restaurant.

We were staying at an airport hotel prior to traveling to Egypt the next day. We found this place on TripAdvisor and so glad we did. The restaurant decor is very modern and classy, the service was brilliant and the food, ALL OF IT, was amazing, both in taste and presentation, amazing. My wife has a dairy intolerance and the waiter made sure she didn't get anything she shouldn't. Even made her a separate naan without the butter. We all agreed it was the best Indian restaurant we had ever been too and we have been to a lot over the years. We would definitely recommend and will be going back next time we fly from the East Midlands Airport. Brilliant Place
