Bulls Head Wilson

Lovely warm welcome. Ale is clearly kept well. The food is beautiful. Squid for starter was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Pan fried Cod with ratatouille main was exquisite. The chef is a talented man. Highest recommendation for the great service, great ale and unbelievable food.

Hollybush Inn

Really nice village pub. Staff are very friendly, locals are too. Food is amazing. Really really good and great value. Will keep coming back. Well done to the team.

Orissa

if i could rate this place higher i would, orissa is the best indian restaurant i have ever been to . The food is absolutely gorgeous and always exceeds expectations. The staff are very friendly and attentive and offer the best service you will find . I also order deliveries from orissa and the service and food is just as fresh and good as you were sat in the restaurant. i’ve also been in the kitchen a few times to meet the chefs and staff , and the kitchen is so clean and well set out , 5 star ? through and through ?????

The Jolly Potters

My favourite pub in Castle Donington, a classic pub with 3 TVs for sports when it's on, a dartsboard, and a decent sized beer garden. Very friendly staff who get to know the regulars and reasonable prices.

The Anchor Inn

Perhaps a little basic as a country pub experience, but the food is great and good value.Absolutely loved the belly pork, pizza was great too. Price point left me feeling we had good value for money.Second time visiting, had an amazing steak cooked for me about a year ago, so think the consistency of food is good too.Beers and drinks good too.

The Red Lion

Monday afternoon private function in the pub lounge. Seems like a great traditional local pub. I especially loved the choice of 7 excellent cask ales, most from the local microbreweries.

Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Fantastic food and service restaurant was very busy and they still managed to serve us with great service and drink and the food just amazing we went stayed up near the airport Uber cost us 14 pound but well worth a visit

Cafe Oasis

A great local cafe. You get a really good breakfast here, either sit in or collect. The owners; Sev and Ismael are really nice people. They really can’t do enough for you. Great service. Nice atmosphere and very clean!!

The Cap & Stocking

Reopened following bereavement (Nov '23), Kegworth's tucked-round-the-back traditional old-fashioned pub. Cask ales at time of visit: Taylor's'"Landlord" , Marston's "Pedigree" and Castle Rock's "Harvest Pale".

Delicious food, some of the best Italian I’ve had in the UK. The service was a little slow (it was a Wednesday evening though to be fair) but overall it was a lovely place to eat.

The Coach House Bar

Just want to say what a gem of a place this is for the money. Had a problem with the shower but within 10 minutes it was sorted brilliant. Old building but modern rooms so surprising and will definitely be going again ☺️☺️

Hands down the best Chinese this side of East Midlands. I wish they delivered to ashby de la zouch!King prawn curry, special chow main, hel yen special fried rice, spicy chips.10/10Cash only .

Domino's Pizza - Castle Donington

Who said pizza is only Italian? ?On our travels we always avoid eating Italian food, we like to try local products and experiment.This time we made an exception and ordered a pizza (Italian style... but it's a start) and it was good.

Runway Brasserie

Yet again breakfast was beautiful Sabina & Gail what an amazing duo. And the Chef knows her omelette’s best ever. My vegetarian friend had forgotten how wonderful an omelette was.

Donington Fish Bar

Came for a weekend away for Convoy in the park, went to the only fish and chip place in the area to find out they had a gourmet sit down restaurant at the back, the 5 of us who went have never had a better fish and chips, and my partner had a 12oz steak which you cook yourself on a hot plate ?! Absolutely amazing and the staff were unbelievably friendly and chatty. We will definitely be coming back and 1000% recommend for anyone ?

Wez on front was professional, approachable and friendly. Happy to make amends to orders. Friendly lad, 10/10 attitude, exactly what you want when you're ordering fast food. Was having a bad day, he made it better.

Loads of tables available and staff were pretty good at the bar when ordering food and drinks.Food came quicker than expected considering how busy it was and was probably equivalent to Wetherspoons type of food. Always slightly expensive but that's the way with airport restaurants. All in all would eat and drink here again before my flight
