Arrived at the cafe thismorning at 8.30..stood for a few minutes being completely ignored by the staff member, she then walked straight past me without any acknowledgment,I then asked if the cafe was open, only then did she respond with…”what can I get you”She was so unapproachable and looked like she would rather be anywhere but here. Last time I ever visit this cafe..proper depressing!

Not the most inspiring supermarket cafe in Hinckley, it’s pretty small and can be a bit oppressive when it’s busy but the food is quite cheap and reasonably good, however the best supermarket cafe in Hinckley is at Morrisons, great food and a much more pleasurable environment.I would not go out of my way to go to the cafe again, staff were nice but just not the nicest environment to eat in.

Went in just before midday for a snack after shopping. Ordered fine with a young lad who honestly looked like he would rather be anywhere else than here, ordered a pizza and a burger meal was given the slice of pizza and cups and headed to sit down. 25 minutes in we recieved no burger, no fries, no it won't be long not a wave not a nothing. Not to mention the young boy touching the pizza with his bare hands between handling cash in the till. Went up after 25 minutes to ask where the food was to find it hadn't even been started! No real apology given honestly a joke. Won't be returning.

Great to see it is open again, following lockdown, so that weary shoppers can take the weight off their feet after completing the tiresome chore of "doing the shopping" ! A pleasant and light space in which to enjoy a heart beverage and a self indulgent tasty treat ! Nice place to meet in fellowship with others and compare notes on the shopping experience.

I have given the store a 1 star rating purely because I cannot give them zero! DO NOT arrange a click & collect order from this store. In the time you will have to wait for your shopping to be given you, you could have shopped the store yourself and probably got home for a cup of tea! Then again ..... if you've tried to amend your order, you will probably need that waiting time to actually collect your amended items yourself. This is the second occasion that I have amended my order ahead of the deadline to find my amendments aren't processed because the store has processed and picked my order early ahead of the deadline! So having wasted about an hour of my time amending orders on 2 occasions I can definitely say I will never shop here again. Online shopping is made to make life easier .... not more difficult and frustrating. The staff need to be made aware of the problem this causes.

I am generally a Morrisons customer. However there are some items (e.g. Pringles, smoky bacon crisps) that for some reason they don't sell. so last Monday I decided to give ASDA a return visit and while there I decided to do my weekly shop. I know that I am in unfamilier surroundings, but I did feel put out by the attitude of most of the staff,I asked 4 people where I could find various things and to say they were unhelpful would be understating the case. When I finally arrived at the check - out, the cashier did not greet me, did not ask me if I required bags and did not thank me for my custom - all things that I have become used to. May I suggest some service training may be required. I am sorry to say that I will not be shopping there again. Yours Colin sherriff

Asda Hinckley are unfortunate as they are in a poor position in the town, they have no ground to extend the shop and the car park is small. But with these problems they do seem to keep hanging on as they seem to be the peoples choice in the town. Whenever you go it is always busy - you can expect to have to hunt for a car park space. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a small George Department but the Boys & mens clothing range is pretty poor. They do have a home department but again it is very limited as is the books/toys/games etc. They have pretty much everything you need food wise and a good range of wheat/gluten free products. They have self service checkouts for those who just want a couple of items and plenty of normal checkouts. The cafe has recently been refurbished and although I haven't been in recently it always used to be quite nice. They have the usual photo kiosk with an instant digital print point. Pretty much what you would expect from Asda but avoid peak times as it can be really unbearable!
