The most amazing food. We have been here several times for lunch and the food is outstanding every time. Lovely menu which changes with the seasonal food availability. Top quality food cooked to perfection by the talented chef. It is fantastic to have this little gem within walking distance of our home. Highly recommended.

We found this restaurant on Google Maps whilst away on a holiday break and thought it would be nice to try something a little different. The food was absolutely stunning. But what made it so much better was the care that the waiting staff took to explain the menu and describe the dishes they thought we might prefer, according to our tastes.This food has integrity and the staff genuinely care. If I had anything to question, it would be the simplicity of the decor which was a fraction sterile, but that said, it was clean and bright with fresh flowers on the table and clean linens. I really hope we can pass through here again one day soon!!!!

Attended the gin school experience, an absolute must for any gin lover. Lucy was a fantastic host and incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. The passion for creating a high quality product really shone through, the complimentary drinks during the experience were delicious!

We have just been in to The Bricklayers for an impromptu meal out, and although we hadn't booked a table, the waitresses were able to accommodate us. All of the staff were very friendly, took our drinks orders, informed us of the specials of the soup/pie/fish of the day. Everything was spot on!

Thank you so much to Stockwells for allowing us to use their venue for our baby shower yesterday! It was the most perfect venue, amazing size for our party of 35, with such beautiful decor! And the ladies on the bar were so friendly! And thank you to Stewert for being so friendly and always quick to respond to any queries we had!! 100% recommend to anyone who needs a venue for a small gathering! ? x

I've said this before, but the food here was excellent and all homemade,all 4 of us had different dishes and not a complain in sight, I tried (for the first time by the way) the fish chowder. My god, I'm definitely going back soon. The staff were great. If you like apple crumble your in for a treat.

Booked a table, tried for 7 people but nothing available. 5 of us went instead, there was plenty of tables for 6 that a chair could have been put at the end of.Food was good, always is. The opportunity to increase size of certain dishes has been removed which was disappointing.The bar service was friendly, the table service was slow but still friendly.

We are so lucky in Hinckley we have lots of cafes and bars that offer great service, half of eating/ drinking out is the quality of staff the greeting you get. I work for myself so getting out the house and seeing people is so important. The Clarence never fails to deliver, a warm welcome, I was served by Alice today and she gave me such a lovely welcome, it makes a huge difference. I can get a coffee anywhere. But a warm welcome, makes the break extra nice.

THIS IS MY FAVOURITE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD. This food is different to the standard UK Indian, this feels more like home cooked Indian food and we all find it easier to digest, I assume because they don't use cheap vegetable oil. Lovely people, the prices are competitive despite the quality being higher than the norm. My daughter orders korma but its nothing like the bland korma you normally get, even I would order a korma here. The breads are varied and amazing. We visit regularly and will continue to do so. If youre looking for authentic south indian food then you will like it here.

I visited Inferno on Saturday night and had an amazing experience. We had a lovely and polite waiter, Ewan, who was very helpful and attentive. The drinks menu was extensive and very fairly priced and when the drinks came they were presented excellently and tasted amazing. The food was fabulous, especially the lobster ravioli. I enjoyed my visit very much and me and my family left very happy. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

The initial greeting was very pleasant and the table was ready at the appointed time. We were taken to our table and offered drinks and menus. Our drinks returned and we ordered food. Excellent meal, very fresh and a good portion. The member of staff who looked after us was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Most enjoyable, we will definitely return.
