Had a really good experience here! We tried the rajkachori, daal bati, and paneer taka tak and everything was absolutely delicious. The food tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were good too. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. Definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy good Indian food!

Just loved this place. Portion sizes are good and reasonably priced, so you can try as many dishes as you want. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes as well. Service is quick, and the staff is very polite.

Attended a wedding here last Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding reception here! Everything was flawless from start to finish. The food was amazing, the staff were brilliant, and despite it being the hottest day of the year so far, the whole day ran perfectly from a guests point of view and the atmosphere was lovely. Huge thanks to the team for making it so special. We will be returning for dinner and drinks soon!

Good value and varied menu and daily specials board. The home-made cakes and soup are especially delicious. Highly recommend this lovely little café.

If you're unsure about trying Nepalese food, don't be. There are a lot of dishes you'll recognise, like those you get in Indian takeaways, but momos are the exception and taste amazing from here. Also, in comparison, the dishes are so fresh. Definitely will be our go-to curry house.

Attended the gin school with a friend last weekend. We each had our own little still so that we could take our own bottle home. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Very friendly and professional, and the venue was beautiful. A whole menu of delicious gin drinks to choose from throughout. Learned lots about how the gin is made first, then got to have a go ourselves using a whole room full of different botanicals to choose from. Lots of guidance provided to make sure it went well, but we did all the steps ourselves. Even got to wax the bottle top at the end. We added on the grazing board as well that we had while the distilling was happening. It was delicious, lots of bits to enjoy and plenty for two of us. Highly recommend this experience. Would make a great gift or a special date night, but have your own still so you don't have to agree! ?

Fabulous place for food and drink.\nWe booked to dine here on Friday as our son and his partner where arriving for thr weekend 3 times I contacted the hotel to change our booking, and they where very accommodating each time. \nEverything about the place is just top notch, from the staff to the food. \nWe have been here a number off times and is 1 off our go to places to eat out at. \nThank you so much for Fabulous service.

Me and my band had the pleasure of playing at this delightful charming pub last night. The Landlady and her daughter could not have been more helpful, we are a 6 piece band and space was tight. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff and customers who I have to say seems to be one big black horse family , moved furniture around for us amazing. We have played a few local pubs now and have to say the Black Horse has great staff, friendly lively atmosphere created by the everyone there who all joined in and were singing and dancing. We had a great night, will definitely be coming back hopefully with the band but definitely as a customer .

What an absolute gem of a find, if Carlsberg made coffee shops, this would be the model. Absolutely first class from entering to leaving. Great choice of drinks, amazing food. Atmosphere is incredible too.

Absolutely incredible food, lovely service too. I had the lamb shank curry with sticky rice and it’s up there with one of the best things I have even eaten. My partner had a stir fry in Oyster sauce and loved it. We both shared a mixed starter which was delightful. Reasonably priced too. Would 100% Recommend and we can’t wait to return

Amazing food and very much affordable price. We tried the food from 7H restaurant on our travel from London and we must say that the price and quality of South Indian food available here is par above from what we get London. A lot of South Indian varieties are there and we tried chicken kothu parotta, chettinadu chicken curry, sambar vada, minced meat rice, Butter Naan etc. Definitely recommend this place and will visit again if we pass through this place.

Nice place to stop for a hot drink and bite to eat. Loads of parking (weekday lunchtime visit) decent prices and nice to have a wander and look at the bikes after.

We had a mocha, cappuccino and a couple of cheese and tomato toasties. Food and drinks were all very nice.

My and my family arrived and had a burger and chip. I really enjoyed the pub atmosphere, service and the food was cooked to perfection. Generous portions and my son loved roaming around the spacious rooms. The guy in the purple t shirt had great customer seduce and the waiter was great asking us if we would like anything regularly. The barman let us put on the tv which was awesome. Will be back again for sure

First time I've visited and I have to say what an amazing place. We arrived early but that wasn't a problem at all for the staff took us straight to out table and got our drinks order while we looked at the menu they did not rush us at all.

The food was served quickly but was presented beautifully and was piping hot.

The atmosphere was amazing staff took time to speak to us and were happy to get us everything we asked for. Nothing was to much trouble for them at all.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for Indian food there is a English section and kids menu too
