The Ashby Tavern has undergone a lovely make over and the team working there are very welcoming. We have visited The Ashby Tavern several times since it's reopened and we've had a fab time every time. We would highly recommend paying it a visit as a group of friends, couple or with the family there is something for everyone. Paul and Natalie x

Lovely clean friendly (Dog and human ?) pub. Felt very welcome. Huge car park and garden seating area. Lovely freshly painted and loved pub inside. Wasn’t looked after before I was told. Friendly lovely staff and locals too. Well worth a visit. Will be my local from now on!

Amazing staff who are always happy for a chat, very friendly environment. Looks lovely from the inside as well.
It was 5 star when I ran it with my mate gone down hill faster that a lightning strike a great pub lost and apparently the beer garden we used to keep in tip top condition is now quite saddening

In reply to Joe Musk review of the Ashby Tavern.Mr Musks grievance about the Ashby is as follows… Mr Musk has a 1yr old son who he’s quite happy to let crawl all over the pub. Bear in mind this is a drinking establishment and not food. Beer gets spilt and glasses get smashed that no amount of mopping or hoovering can guarantee getting up every last germ or shard of glass, people stand at the bar and on several occasions I have witnessed people stepping away from the bar and almost treading on the baby on the floor behind them. There are two fire places both with heavy grates that the little one always make a beeline for and on occasions has pulled them down, had they landed on little ones hand or god forbid head they could do damage. We also introduced disco/karaoke on a Friday and Saturday and so a No Children after 7pm rule was put in place on these 2 nights only whilst Sunday through Thursday remains 9pm.. Mr Musk and his partner did not like this rule, but we take our customers safety very seriously and that of their children. The Ashby Tavern remains a child and dog friendly pub with plenty of outside seating for those warm summer nights.

This place has gone down hill from when kurt and hannah had it. Owners need o get the right manager cos they haven't got a clue. I used to to be a regular for years. Will not be going in again. Its not been the same since pete and dave had the place
