Best Indian food in Hinckley hands down. Whether dining in or taking out , the food is always fresh , hot and delicious. Each dish is individual and full of flavour(we are currently working our way through the whole menu?). Thoroughly recommend the garlic and chilli chicken and Rajasthani lal maans.

Met friends, who live in Hinckley, here for a meal. None of us had eaten here before. We had poppadoms with sauces. There were only 3 sauces but they were all tasty (and thankfully there wasn't any like pickle ?). I had chilli mushrooms for my starter which were tasty but not the largest starter I've ever had. My main of Shahi Paneer was delicious but could've done with a few more pieces of Paneer. The garlic naan was lovely.The Mango Lassi drink was large & not expensive for the volume given. It wasn't the best I've tasted but it was nice enough.The waitress that served us was lovely & really attentive to our needs.So, I would go back to this restaurant as would our friends who really enjoyed their meals too.The venue itself is large with very high ceilings so the noise level was echoing.Vegetarian options: The menu is approximately 50% vegetarian which made a nice change.

Second time here and food was still amazing.We ordered poppadoms to share, salted pepper paneer which was gorgeous. The tandoori chicken wings were nice too. Samosa chaat was unique, never tried anything like that and it was tasty. The chicken taka tak was lovely. Saag chicken (mild) version was delicious. The naan was the best we have tried, so light which meant it was not too filling.It was a good weekday deal for 3 courses including ice cream. Will definitely come back again.

I've got to say that Bikaneri must be one of the best kept secrets in Hinckley. We thought we would try their Tuesday and Wednesday £14.95 special deal and have had a fantastic dinning experience. The staff were friendly and attentive with out hanging over you. They knew their menu and were able to advise and even adapt one of the main dishes for us. We were both blown away by our starters, firstly by the presentation then by the taste. The mains did not fail either and were as equally as good. This has got to be some of best Indian food we have ever had. I decided to go all veggie this night and if all vegetarian food tasted as half as good as this then I would convert tomorrow. Even at normal prices this would be a steal and quality night out. I can't understand why the place is not packed every night. Go and try it yourselves, you won't be disappointed.

I read another review a while back stating that it was nice to have non-greasy Indian food, which is what attracted me to Bikaneri - and I couldn't agree more. Being seasoned in eating lots of Indian food, I can easily say how the dishes (Goan fish curry) tasted authentic and homely. Not the usual greasy and too heavy Indian food usually served in restaurants, but proper home-made style and a great flavour!It's my new Indian favourite for sure! Would just ask for a few more dairy-free options (maybe sub dairy yoghurt for coconut yoghurt instead for the tandoori range).
