Popped in to grab my birthday treat, so I decided to have steak bake and a latte ..was a bit of a wait though..appears short staffed ?

I asked the young gentlemen if they had any baguettes in the back to make a fresh ham salad without mayonnaise due to my lactose intolerance. Its never usually a problem provided they have the ingredients in the back. The senior employee went to the back and got me a ham salad with mayonnaise. I asked if they could make a fresh one without mayonnaise. She responded quite abruptly and swiftly and told me they don't make fresh baguettes here. This is the first time someone from greggs has spoken to me in this manner, and also, the first time, I've been refused a fresh baguette if the ingredients are available. Greggs employees are usually very helpful with great customer service. I didn't respond to the rude lady and went to Subway directly opposite. She was rude and uncooperative. This was my only bad experience shopping at greggs. I'll avoid this particular shop in the future.

Availablity of food is patchy as with most Gregg's. Small seating area available. If wanting to eat in at Gregg's I would recommend using the one in the shopping centre up the road.

We get charged extra to sit in but every empty table was dirty or full of rubbish. The floors needed a good clean too.
Greg's is great! Just not if you're vegetarian. Even the toasties all contain meat. What happened to cheese & onion or cheese & tomato?!

Everyone told me that I needed a Gregg’s sausage roll when I was in the UK. They weren’t wrong, so I got 2! For fast food breakfast Gregg’s is amazing! If you’re not a heavy sausage roll breakfast eater, and prefer pastry, they have you covered too with a massive assortment of pastries of a variety of rich full flavors!

Friendly staff, and they always go above and beyond. If you want fresh pizza, they'll do it for you. And frankly, I prefer your take-out hot chocolates to Costa's.
