Food was of poor quality and portion size poor, food was cold and my partner was not given what he asked for, the apparent landlady pleasant which is more than I can say for the blond waitress who had a face like thunder and the tall girl with dark hair. I didn't complain at the time as my guests would have felt uncomfortable. I won't be going back and I am now going to email Greene king. Dreadful experience!!!!

Booked a table, tried for 7 people but nothing available. 5 of us went instead, there was plenty of tables for 6 that a chair could have been put at the end of.Food was good, always is. The opportunity to increase size of certain dishes has been removed which was disappointing.The bar service was friendly, the table service was slow but still friendly.

I have never known such a turnaround of an eating establishment, I went on Sunday coming back from a weekend away with family and had no choice but to book my Stepsons 21st which was last night and a table of 14.... and considering its next to Miller and Carter.... I was gladly surprised with the quality here ten times over! Staff and management were brilliant ? vibrant and accommodating, I even got to watch Liverpool play.... this place is a must to try or try again if you had a bad experience in the past! Seriously well done to the whole team including the kitchen staff! More importantly thank you!

Me and my family came down last Friday, the 17th to celebrate my birthday.We ordered the steak fondue to share, my granny ordered fish and chips and we ordered nachos for starter.We all sat at the same table, paid at the same time but on different card payments.My granny’s dish came out, but we waited over 20 minutes for ours to come out.When we finally got our food, the steak was so chewy and tough, very gristly and was not appetising at all.However the drinks were great.But we weren’t happy with the food at all.
