Called in here Sunday for bite to eat as taro lounge was full . Wasn’t anyone else eating and food took long while . When arrived 2 of us had fish and chips worst we ever had think had microwaved the fish was soggy and under cooked couldn’t eat , would of sent back but had waited that long and didn’t have time to wait for another . This place is ok good a drink but think they should stop serving food till get better cook

Quite pleasant if basic. The food was lovely. Not cheap but not dear.

Town centre local. Inexpensive. Nice welcome; dog friendly. Not perhaps somewhere you would take a lady.

Brilliant friendly staff, great place fun and happy atmosphere XX

Brilliant pub. The staff including the security are all really friendly. Had a decent pint of Carling in here and was very cheap.

Lovely light fresh lunch cooked to perfection. We had a few drinks, cheap and cheerful

Nice well presented pub, reasonable drink prices and brilliant entertainment on a Thursday evening with the bingo well recommended ?

Food was okay, customer service absolutely appalling! Staff member had a very poor attitude and no consideration for customers! Did not make this a pleasant experIence in the slightest, will not be returning in a hurry!

Me and my friends came today to play pool and man was ok about it but the woman behind the counter yelled at us and said “if you wanna play pool you need to order a drink” so I ordered a drink and she said “that’s it? Just you? “ so she told us to leave I wasn’t happy as last week they let us play pool without buying a drink so yeah not going back there no matter what people say

A fine example of a former JD Wetherspoon being reimagined as an independent pub.Lovely staff! The barman, Owen, was very friendly.Very pleased with the prices of the brewery's ales and I hope to return next time I'm in Hinckley.

This place is no longer a weather-spoons and has undergone a few menu changes. The first few attempts was awful but now the place is like an own brand Nando’s so don’t look for typical pub grub. However we have been several times and have had no issues. Service is prompt, staff are friendly, food is good. If you don’t like chicken then you are not in luck and this isn’t the place for you. Would recommend, don’t think we have had a bad meal here yet. It is pricey but can’t complain, only issue is the garlic bread. The garlic bread is just a top of a burger bun that’s toasted.

My black boyfriend was racially profiled during our visit with friends and was touched, shoved and pushed, during a pandemic, despite being completely none aggressive and compliant. Our nice get together before going to university was completely ruined. Do not go here!

I came, dinner time after I finished my business meeting. Ordered the £10.96 chicken with +2 sides. Now , the food was hot and tasted good however , the chicken is not half , so please be aware , hardly no sauce , the plates are to big so it looks like the food is so little , if it wasn’t for the 50% off , I definitely would not of paid the full price. Honestly just change the plate sizes ! Bar staff are lovely , very friendly .

How can the CHEF be walking around in flip flops in dirty whites, unshaven and looks dirty ... did not eat as the general state of the chef makes me worry about the state of the kitchen !!!!!!!!
