Shame I won't return

Dreadful service had salt and chilli king prawns and salt and chilli chips. Absolutely no chilli to it just had battered prawns then asked my son what his salt and chilli chips were like and said there’s was the same. Rang them explained they said bring the food back so son went back. Then he rung to tell me they were only offering to replace half of each of the orders so after complaining I agreed to just to get the food. Only for the my son to return with half the money as that’s how they make there food apparently! Even though had that dish from there before. Terrible customer service. The chicken balls have arrived before with batter still soggy as well twice but as just round the corner gave it the benefit of the doubt n avoided that dish. Won’t ever use again

I recently learned that there is a new chef at this takeout restaurant. Today, I ordered three dishes. The House Special Satay was incredibly delicious—the satay sauce was rich and fragrant, and the different meats were cooked to perfection. The Roast Duck was tender and smooth, and the Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion had a great combination of flavors; the ginger and spring onion were sautéed to perfection. I look forward to trying other dishes on my next visit.

Was told my order would be with me in about 30/40 min, took an hour to arrive .. and was cold, half the food was just edible, had to throw the rest away, Very disappointing won't be going back.

We have used this take away many times in the past and on the whole have been satisfied with what we have ordered. However, we recently had a take away and it was terrible. The egg fried rice was dry and crunchy; the crispy duck was like ground meat not pieces of duck; and the prawns were in an overly sweet sauce. I rang Skyway House to complain and was told sorry with no hint of offering for example a discount on our next order. There is absolutely no way we will have a take away from Skyway House again.

We have used this Chinese for 30years and was the go to place. It is now awful. Prices have gone up(I understand that and accept that) but portion size has gone down!!! But the worst of all yesterday we ordered 10 dishes and all of them only had a spoonful of sauce, which meant the dishes were very dry!! They have now lost a long standing customer.

Just had a meal, with Lemon chicken and Duck in plum sauce. By far the worst Chinese meal we’ve ever had. The lemon chicken was mainly batter and the duck was virtually all fat. Absolutely terrible and if I could I would have given it zero stars.

Have been a long standing customer of Skyway House but recently took a break from having Chinese takeaways. However tonight we decided to have one and our expectations were raised as it has been a few months since our last takeaway.What an absolute disappointment it was. Not sure what has changed at Skyway house since we last used them, but both dishes were really poor. The curry just tasted like pepper and the beef with green peppers and black bean sauce was virtually tasteless. The black bean sauce was hardly evident and the peppers were only partially cooked.The sesame prawn toast was definitely a smaller portion than I remember it to be, and the texture and taste suggested it had been warmed up from the day before.Rice was okay, I'll give them that.Let me know when y0u get a new chef and I might come back. In the meantime I'll be trying elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed. 2nd meal since the refurb and both meals overloaded with large chunky carrots. Seem like trying to fill the portion cheaply.Now the main reason for the negative review.......Halfway through my already disappointing meal I felt a metallic click in my mouth, and joy of joys I found a large drawing pin .I rang to complain and was offered another meal or a credit.As I will never use this place again (have been for over 40 years), I asked for a refund.The meal for 4 came to £33 and the delivery driver brought round £9.60 !!!!!This place is now being reported to the environmental health department, and has lost our custom forever.

Food was dry and fairly tasteless. My dad found a rusty boardpin in his meal so obviously asked for a refund and received a pittance back. Would not buy again.

Second time I’ve ordered since the refurb. The prices have increased by at least 10% and yet the portion sizes have decreased massively. Great taste but hugely disappointed as it was one of the most expensive Chinese takeaways beforehand.Very disappointing.
