Went as part of a large group. Very attentive, good service, food came out piping hot, very tasty.

Terrible ! We have ate at a lot of Indian restaurants in Hinckley and surrounding area’s , this has got to be the worst, service was awful so disrespectful, food even worse inedible, when we quibbled the bill something was sorted , but some moron in a baseball cap said can’t afford to pay ! If I had a good meal and good service always pay full and a good tip , but I don’t pay full if awful experience, never again will we eat here again.

Ordered a takeaway and paid for it over the phone to then have the driver call me to tell me he couldn’t find my house which is a common issue where I live. But rather than let me direct him, he just started shouting at me like it was my fault and threatened to take the food back to Hinckley. Really awful experience - unfortunately the food was also really poor so that didn’t even make up for it.

Nice food but extremely expensive: For a curry, rice (extremely small for the price) and nan you're looking at 30 quid or more per person. The staff were nice but felt a bit aggressive/pushy. The curry was nice with good sized pieces of meat but it's not much of an ask when you're paid double the price of most Indians.

I hate to say it, because this place used to be really good, but it has become very hit & miss… and more recently mostly miss. This is based on takeaway as we stopped eating in here some time ago. We decided to order from here because we only live around the corner & it we thought it would be convenient (our preference for Indian takeout is a restaurant about 5 miles away but it is unpredictable with delivery). We ordered some Bhaji & samosa starters. They were the tiniest I have ever seen & so dry. We were given one tiny bag of salad to cover both starters. But the mains were a real let down. Now, my partner loves his curry & especially spicy curries but not just the heat, the real blend of spice. We recently noticed when he ordered hot curries from the Tiffin (naga or vindaloo) it was more like a ton of chilli but not really a blend of spice. So he went for a simple Chicken balti - can’t go wrong… until it turns up tasting like a can of watery tomatoes with some chicken pieces. No spices or curry flavour. Plus my vegetarian dish tasted like it was in the same tomato sauce as the balti. We had some pilau rice & chapatis which were ok but they were plain so we weren’t expecting any flavour from them!! Overall it was so disappointing and I do feel it overpriced at nearly £45. It’s a shame… it tastes like there is no love going in to it anymore & for that reason we give it one star based on our last few experiences here.

Exceptionally rude staff!! It appeared the staff didn’t want to be there and didn’t want customers there either!

If I am ever asked for a place to go for an Indian Meal, I would straight away suggest the Windsor Tiffin. The place has been going for as long as I can remember and I have never had a bad meal in there. The staff are lovely and the food always good. Certainly a place to try if you fancy a good curry ?
