Very welcoming from entering the pub. Friendly staff. We took our dog, he was acknowledged warmly. Given treats. The dinner was amazing, didn't have to wait too long. Hot and tasty. Prices are reasonable. Had a great family dinner. Plenty of parking at the back of the pub. Thank you
Stumbled across the Elephant & Castle yesterday when visiting a friend in the village - What a absolute hidden gem it is! We could not find fault with this establishment: Friendliness - Excellent Service - Excellent Cleanliness - Excellent Facilities - Excellent Food quality - Excellent Also, both management and local patrons made us, as 'strangers', feel extremely welcome. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the regular Motown slot began. But we will definitely be returning...read full review

Popped in on Sunday after a walk. Sat on the decking in the sun. The staff were very accommodating and the garlic and cheese chips were fantastic. Great pint(s) of Guinness too!
