This is one of our favourite places to go out for a meal, it continues to serve great food and offers particularly good value mid week set supper menus. Only 4 stars for atmosphere this last visit, as the restaurant was fairly quiet. The food and service however were excellent.

Another amazing meal with our closest friends for a belated birthday treat. Despite our friends arriving a little late (M1 from London on Bank Holiday weekend! ) Sarah was delightful and took away our stress!Needless to say...our friends loved their 1st meal with you & promise to return . Thank you to Sarah, Lino and all at The Lighthouse....you are amazing. Dawn and JohnDietary restrictions: Our friend's allergies were very well catered for.

Very disappointed, fish was cooked nice, service excellent, unfortunately let down by quantity. We had the Captains table, advertised as push the boat out 5 star dining, what we got was the paupers taste of what the captain might get. The portion sizes were a joke, when they brought the last dish out, I couldn't believe it, we had to stop on the way home to get something to eat. At £260 (food only) for 4 £65 each, no drinks or desserts, it was upsetting. I have to say the food they were bringing out to the other tables looked amazing. If we'd had the normal menu we would have had desserts coffee and happily paid more!I didn't want to spoil our night by saying anything you must have known the portions you sent out were extremely Stingy, why half a scallop to make it look like 2? We have done many tasting menus and always left satisfied, some less than your CAPTAINS TABLE, lots more expensive. If we had ordered the dishes off your normal menu and shared each portion, as the portion sizes you brought to our table was 1 dish split into 4 it would have cost £93.50, you charged us £260. This was not a tasting menu, certainly no CAPTAINS TABLE, it was a bite size taste! As my friend said "if you'd slapped us in the face with a fish it would have been robbery with assault"Thank you for replying on here, I am sure it might look good, but you have my details so could have reached out that way.Parking: Parking was a bit of a nightmare, plenty of street parking but cars all over the place.

We were visiting my sister in Smeeton Westerby and were able to walk to this wonderful restaurant on a lovely summer’s evening. What a delight to be able to go to a local restaurant and have such tasty fare! The sea bass was especially good it’s freshness being undisputed, my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the cheese soufflé which was delicious. All washed down with a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet, what’s not to love. Staff were charming and knowledgeable. Lucky people of Kibworth Beachamp to have this restaurant on your doorstep.
We made the 35 min trip from Hinckley on a whim as we really fancied fish & found this hidden gem through an internet search - we weren’t disappointed! Lovely staff, great atmosphere & a refreshingly varied menu with lots of choices. We loved their sharing concept as we were able to sample more dishes than we would normally be able to & each was delicious. The wine list is carefully curated & has a great selection by the glass too. We will definitely return as it was superb!

We were looking for a fish restaurant and decided to try The Lighthouse. We were greeted with a warm welcome, prompt & friendly service, followed by a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was buzzing & despite it being a busy Saturday night, the service was super efficient & the food was amazing. Well worth the 35 min drive & we will definitely be back - it’s a real gem!
