Delicious breakfast in a small and cosy setting. Such a relaxed environment to enjoy time with family.

Turned up to an empty restaurant and patio to be told they’re fully booked and couldn’t make 2 coffees. Will not be returning and won’t recommend.Edit : We weren’t able to try any food or drink as we were rudely turned away. The restaurant was barely full at 11am on Saturday morning and with two customers sat outside in the empty courtyard (hardly exceptionally busy) we presumed we could stop for two coffees in the sun (in the unbookable courtyard) evidently that was too much trouble.

Really enjoyed our lunch with friends today. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff, and very tasty food. Will definitely be back.

Had a lovely experience. We initially came for a turkey sunday dinner, but were disappointed to find that there was no turkey left. This was more than made up for. The manager explained that they did not want to overprepare and waste any, but offered for us to take some of the unprepared turkey home to eat tomorrow. When we declined (we aren't cooking tomorrow), he instead brought us cake on the house. On top of all this, we recieved a considerable 20% off of the build. Not only was the service good, the food tasted lovely. I highly recommend the grilled chicken flatbread. The atmosphere is nice too - as the name would suggest, a quaint, cosy barn vibe is present. Easily five stars - we will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has good vibes but the santa grotto is absolutely disgusting with racist Santa there! if you are asian or brown skin do not go to santa s grotto ! “Santa” did not engage with my child BUT only he engaged with white children! It’s funny writing this santa being racist but behind that santa mask that “human” is racist to even little children. Appealing! Shame on you for hiring racist person!Do not tell me what to do!! your santa made my little child feel so upset ! I am not surprised you are not accepting being racist!!!

Ordered a large Cappucino. I took it back as it was very weak, and asked if I could have an extra shot for which I offered to pay. There was no extra charge but it took at least ten minutes and they weren’t busy. So sad that this beautiful place lacks a happy atmosphere and happy customer service.

I met some friends here for a late breakfast. Myself & one of my friends decided to try the pancakes, berry compote & cream. They were ok but ruined by the cream, which was squirty cream, which left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth for an hour after finishing. For the price I was expecting real cream to be honest. Another friend had sausage & tomatoes on bread. The bread was cut so thinly that every time she picked it up the filling fell out (mostly onto her top). The coffee was good & the man that served us was lovely, friendly & attentive. It is an old building, which is beautiful, but a tad cold.Parking: A limited number of spaces but we visited early midweek so no problems parking.

Really lovely venue, it has such character. The staff are very accommodating and the food is delicious!Parking: Very small car park for how popular the venue is.

Very uninspiring lunch menu, good service by a very overworked waiter, truly disgusting toilet, right next to kitchen, smell wafting through to front of house. Many complaints apparently, owners not interested. Will certainly be giving this a miss in future

Decided to drop in for a cheeky drink on Saturday at 4.30. Walked thru the garden and as need the loo into the bar/restaurant. The server (blonde pony tail ) kind of blocked the door way and her actual words were 'what do you want' I said well just a drink please , her reply was well its last orders at 4.45 (it was 4.30) and we close at 5pm , she honestly looked at us as tho we had walked into her house off the street. I said well that's fine we will be finished by 5pm we only wanted one drink in their lovely terrace/garden. Anyway the drinks were served and were nice, but the attitude and hospitality poor. I am sure the owner would not be happy with this .

The perfect breakfast spot for a bank holiday weekend?☕️!Back in June, I visited The Tithe Barn for the first time. If you live in Leicester, there’s no way you haven’t heard of this place or seen it on social media.Upon arrival, I was delighted by the appearance of the outside courtyard area and even more excited that we had booked to sit outside. We were shown to our table and given our menus. The waiter also directed our attention to the small device on the table which we could use to request service (among other options). What I had:• Pork Breakfast Burger• Extra Bacon• Strawberry Smoothie• CappuccinoThe strawberry smoothie…all I can say is WOW. I am still dreaming about it to this day. It was so yummy that I even contemplated ordering a second one. I would go back again solely for that drink. The breakfast burger was divine. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh. In terms of appearance, it doesn’t look very exciting, but it is packed with flavour. The hashbrowns were served alongside the burger, which I preferred as you could enjoy them separately. The reason for ordering extra bacon was due to it not being stated in the description of the burger on the menu, and me being a bacon lover had to have bacon! To then be served a burger with bacon in it was slightly surprising and quite annoying, as I had spent more money than needed simply due to an error on the menu. Just something to note when ordering.Anyway, after eating my burger and extra bacon, we decided to order a coffee to enjoy whilst taking in our surroundings and basking in the sun.The staff were very helpful, albeit not the most attentive. The prices were fair for what you get, considering it is an independent establishment.Overall, I had an enjoyable experience and will definitely be visiting again.
