Pleasant surroundings, excellent food, we had salmon which was really tasty, bar service was a bit slow even though the pub was only half full.

A nice, warm little pub. I particularly like the fresh flowers on the tables. Food is always good, decent pub food and not too pricey.

The Wheatsheaf Inn hosted my sports club's annual social/awards evening in their fabulous skittle alley on 09/03/24. We had approximately 70 guests, varying in age from 7 years old to 95 years. The feedback from all the guests has been brilliant and all positive, especially on the food and service provided by the Wheatsheaf. It was a very successful event, with the Wheatsheaf team being a major reason for the success. I would not hesitate recommending this venue, and the club will be booking it again for next year's social/awards evening.Cheers Andreas (Leicester Forest Cycling Club)

Me and my partner and pup went down for breakfast on Sunday and it was so lovely. Free tea and coffee which is unlimited and a lovely touch. The staff were so lovely especially the lady behind the bar (25th Feb 10:30ish) went above and beyond and even gave my pup a treat. Food was super fast and presentation was great and tasted amazing. Definitely will be backVegetarian options: Lots of veggi optionsParking: Lots of Parking and freeKid-friendliness: There’s a lovely kids menu which is such a good price.Wheelchair accessibility: There is ramps

We’ve visited a few times since this has been under new ownership as it’s our ‘local’ & we’ve been happy each time. Food is good with a nice selection and good children’s menu. Service has also been great and the ambience is warm and welcoming. We recently visited as a large group (adults and children) and Lucy, Grant and their team were very accommodating of us! We feel grateful it have such a family friendly pub on the doorstep and are looking forward to visiting for breakfast soon ?

Went today for a family meal after being advised to book. The food and service were excellent and it’s not just a slung in the microwave dinner like a lot of places it was fresh and home cooked or sourced from local produce. It’s a family run pub and has a lot of different areas so wherever you are it always feels cosy and private. All in all none of us could fault the place at all, will visit again for sure and roll on the introduction of breakfasts!!!!

This is one of the most authentic village pubs in Leicestershire, full of character. The ales are well kept, the food is what you want from a local, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We are regular visitors and can highly recommend if you are looking for a traditional pub.

We had a fantastic time, we hired the skittle alley. Friends were worried it may have been cold and and unpleasant but it was very nice. Warm as it’s heated. Food that was laid on was great and the staff are fantastic. Highly recommend
