This has to be the worst service station I have ever visited. Noisy scruffy dreadful place. Did walk past lots of eating places on the building to find Starbucks. Extremely expensiveNot an area we usually drive ,if we did again we would find elswhere

Everything you'd expect from a motorway service area. Gets very busy but I generally find a parking place without hassle and the facilities are usually clean.

Lets be honest, you visit service stations out of necessity rather than choice. This is a solid option though - plenty of choices for fast food and snacks, decently maintained toilets, parking is a little tight but manageable. Nice views from the main bridge seating.

The signage for the lift wasn't obvious when you're standing at the base of the escalator. We came down the lift but it was a small platform barely big enough for a wheelchair and the button had to be held pressed to drop. Seating for food was a bit grotty on new year's Day. KFC service was fast but expensive and they use fast-dissolving paper straws.

I'm pleased to say that they have at long last resurfaced the lorry park and dealt with the horrendous pot holes that were everywhere. Parking bays are marked out herringbone style, making parking very easy. Vast improvements here.

Not too bad thpugh we didnt use the indoor services nor the overnight accomodation. The reason for our pitstop was food. Our dogs and we were hungry after a 8 hour drive along a darkening motorway.

Arrived just before 11pm to find all the food kiosks were closed. If a service station is not 24hrs, it should say so nice and clearly on the sign before you exit the motorway.

My kids fav service station! They love sitting over the motorway and watching all the traffic. When we travel from Poole to Newcastle, it’s exactly half way so we always stop here for a break and refreshments and on our way back from Newcastle to Poole. For once, my kids are actually looking out of the window and not staring at their phones lol.

As a truck driver, we get a 45 minute break, Burger King closed for a refurb, queues at Subway and Noodle bar rediculous and KFC not taking manual orders because a coach load of children is in, Thanks, so it’s a coffee and drive for another 4.5hrs until I can eat.Prices are typical UK rip off but no service, You need to learn from the Europeans, Disgusted

Plenty of truck parking, looks like it’s been redone recently because the last time I went there was some absolute huge holes in the parking area. Went upstairs and tried out the breakfast from the cafe, was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. For the price I don’t think you can complain. Friend had told me it wasn’t great so thought I’d try it for myself and maybe he is fussy cause I rather enjoyed the breakfast. Quick service as well so ideal for being on the go.
